It was summer of 2005, just after junior year in high school and me and my best friend bought a prepaid visa card to pay for a monthly sub. We started characters together on the same account, me, a Tauren shaman, him an Orc Warrior. You never forget your first character.
As a lvl 25 orc running through the barrens and finding my way to Thunder Bluff, i was so blown away by the discovery. Couldnt wait to run around the surrounding hills to see what other mysterious were out there 😢
Literally my happy place. I've always said, if/when WoW officially dies, I'm logging back in one more time to leave all my characters in Mulgore forever.
beautiful in a sad kinda way. I'd leave my Dwarf Paladin in Dalaran, which is tied to his cringy backstory I wrote when I was 14. I'd leave my BE mage sipping drinks in the Silvermoon bar that people roleplay(ed) in. My Orc Warrior would be on a ship, and I'd log out before that ship reached its destination.
@@lukea9873 I usually imagine them in the character select screen. I expect that, next time I log in, I'll see my characters all dead and just rotting flesh or a grave for the kids. I also expect to be disappointed too and that's why I'm here.
This zone was/is my second favorite starting zone after the elves.. I spent so much.. so very much time in TB. Anytime I was Horde it was always my home location. I absolutely love it to much.. the memories.. gosh the years just slipped away.. what I wouldn't give to go back to 2005 even for just 10 minutes
The only starting zone I actually cared enough to play through to it's fullest potential. Meisio, you are a godsend for uploading all of these. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for having these around to look to when I have no interest in the current game and feel like travelling to those times of playing this.
You are my favorite channel for Wow music, in particular classic. I almost exclusively listen / watch your classic videos as I’m doing documentation for work. So relaxing, so nostalgic, and put together with love and care. Thank you! And keep it up!
Love your videos Meisio, takes me back to the days I was running around with my brother in these worlds. Now it's a great asset to help me focus. Much Appreciated
I'm so excited to see you play Classic! I'm a role player myself, so it's an exciting prospect to go back and play the significantly younger versions of my characters. I'd love to see some content regarding your roleplaying experience! Much appreciation :^)
I never leveled any characters here, but I always loved this zone. If I had to settle and build a house in a Wow zone, it would probably be this one lol.
My first explorations here came on a level 10 Night Elf Druid. I was home sick from school and decided I wanted to go on an adventure to see what the Tauren were like, because I couldn't simply make one on my PVP server. So I ran all the way from Darkshore, down through Ashenvale, The Barrens, until I finally came upon Mulgore. I spent a while outside Bloodhoof Village just watching the Tauren, eventually killing a NPC called Brave Leapingdeer. I thought it was so impressive to kill a NPC horde character back then. Eventually I made a Tauren Shaman on another server, spent so much time just hanging around the sunny grasses and enjoying the zone. It was a completely different experience, not knowing what was over the next hill or what to do next. Not like no where you run from point A to B in a very informed way.
An amazing feature would've been that the game would generate puddles of water and these would slowly disappear once the rain was over to make the illusion that they evaporated.
Hey James :) I've already read your message from the last time. Apologies, I did not answer. I've put it on my whiteboard. As gameplays I'll cover in the future the first / best three expansions. That means WotLK as well. But I don't have a timeline yet. Can be next week or in few months. Thank you for your understanding, Meisio
The best Horde starting zone! Thank you so much for this amazing video. I feel myself 10 years younger looking at this views. Awww what a nice time it was!

By partially, do you mean you would only stream it a few times?
That's correct Grakahnarulash Of the Nine.
8:17 that muffled "how may i aid you" was like a little jumpscare lol

Sometimes leveling a Tauren, simply to experience the atmosphere and music that the planes of Mulgore offers, is enjoyable in its own way.

12:43. Man. Listening to this really paints a picture of how the Tauren had to fight to secure and protect that land and promote peace.
My pup just loves this video. She never sits still for more than 5 minutes, but will curl up and watch this with me for 30 mins or more.

Salutations,
Meisio.
ambient music of these old mmos..there is something magical about it, aspecialy starting zones.
Starting zones are the best... But I think this one and the dwarves one the best among the best!
Tauren, dwarfs, humans, worgen, death knight
What ab the gnomes😲😆
You can tell that they were developed first, with most time and care put into.
Classic is nearly here. Just over 2 years ago I never thought I would come back to WoW. But here we are, less than two days from release!
너무힐링된다 채널주인장 감사합니다 정말감사해요 다른온라인겜을 하면서도 옆에 모니터로 항상 이채널 와우음윽을 켜놔요
Tauren hunter main retail and classic era here. This hits right in the feelings.

Super relaxing. Mulgore is my favorite starting zone, and the tauren are my favorite vanilla race.

Thanks for doing this, revisited this video about 100 times now. Also, the chromatic aberration is strong with this one!

10 days until WoW Classic!

Love all the starting zones in Vanilla. Felt humans got the most developed from a quest line standpoint, but each was amazing in it's own way.
U deserve 100k subscriber amazing work man keep going !! I always watch your videos while I am in bed its help me sleep better :)
Thank you Alican. I am happy you are getting relaxed by watching my videos. And about the 100k subs, who knows... in time. :)
Meisio is so epic that Azeroth rains on command for the video shot! ;)
Oh man
Hey! :) I hope it's according to you (high) sleeping standards :D
Salutations!

This was so cool when I created my tauren warrior 17 years ago. Crazy how the time flies by.
this is rly a masterpiece, good work!
Thank god for the vanilla version. Cataclysm was a disaster and so was its music.
Ancestors watch over you!
My god I love Mulgore
Since I'm clicking and listening to these I'm getting a lot more WoW ads. 😅

Je me souviendrais toujours d'un tauren qui disais : "voulez-vous m'aider à chercher mon chien ?"
Hey Meisio, thanks for the video. Great work!
Can you do Gameplay, No Commentary, ASMR for Howling Fjord and other WotLK regions? :>

What server will you play on?
One alliance bubble boy paladin disliked this.
Noble tauren my eggs. They are hordes.
