As for the Maia fight, I guess Maia has a chance of holding Kim down, but who really has done that to kim in his entire mma career let alone the ufc? I dont think anyone has held kim down for a long time at all in his 25 mma fights. That's how good of a judoka Kim is. Maia might be able to hold down kim for a few minutes, but I see kim getting to his feet and outstriking maia like rory did to him. If Rory can stay on the feet against maia, then Im confident Kim can do it as well considering that Kim seems to at least rival rory in the grappling department. Kim has never come close to being outgrappled in the ufc unless he was gassed. If anyone can neutralize Maia's grappling and make it a stand up fight at welterweight, it's kim.
