    Thank you, this is great. It still saddens me that there are people who just think Liszt was an empty virtuoso, with no musicality at all... these pieces are beautiful.

      How could anyone say that about you??? You have more emotional music than most if not all other composers.

    Can only underscore comments made before me, what depth and intuitive, (and novel) cello writing. The dialogue between cello and piano compels the ear towards the cello entry and responding phrase. Very much as the ear tends towards a single vocal strand in an orchestral sea. Loved it.

    his melodies speak to me like no others. it shines a light into places of my heart and mind that I'd disregarded or forgotten, yet it peels away the emotional blockages and gives those pieces back to me. thank you for posting this beautiful collection, I am grateful for Liszt
