Saw the show in previews and can't wait to see it again. Its brilliant. Many twists to keep it interesting whilst keeping true to the main elements of the original story. Cast are fantastic. We'll worth going to see.
CHF wouldn't last a month on Broadway, she can't take any sort of constructive criticism and the show looks like a sixth form production, no offense to sixth formers! Frozen will totally overshadow it when it opens!

Because if only seen positive reviews online.. and I’m sure Covid may have a thing to do with it perhaps.. especially if a it’s classified as a child friendly show and children are only just beginning to be thought of vaccinations.. but that’s my perspective from Australia
Doesn't look good tbh! The words used are so hurtful to people with any sort of mental issues, who uses loon and barking mad in the 21st century, oh yes the Lord Webber does! It's a no for me!
I mean… that’s the whole point? Those are the hurtful words that the stepmother and the villagers use about Cinderella, but she doesn’t let it get to her.
It's clear you feel strongly about this. I'm sure you could start a constructive dialogue with the creators of the show outlining your concerns by sending a letter or messaging their socials? Or maybe go see the show instead of judging it so quickly and preventing yourself from potentially having a really fun experience. Food for thought :))

Also, unless I am mistaken I wasn't aware that this particular version of Cinderella was highlighting that particular problem, so why does ALW insist on using outdated, old fashioned terminology when this is meant to me a new take on the story. Oh Yes! because he is old fashioned and outdated!

@@jaydee3216 couldn't agree more, it looks horrendous but hoping the leading lady doesn't damage her voice, again, very strained.
