    Wrong! Classics are the bigger original size. The 85s are 85% the size as the classics. They are smaller

      @@RubenGarcia-px5vy I’ve owned 4 pairs. All except 1 were really small and squeezed my temples and the lenses flex. The good pair that I had when I was 17 before they were stolen was larger in size and had a rubber nose piece and came with a leather case and had the number 87 on the part of the lens where the temple met the lens. There were 2 sizes. The larger pair had longer temples and a wider lens. The larger ones are extremely hard to find and I haven’t found a reasonably priced pair since. Now I can’t even find larger pairs at all. And recently I haven’t been able to find old school ones with black lenses.

I want to place my order from my country of residence in the old continent and I get an error message, I have to select another address and only Canada and the USA appear as option countries. My Dale Earnhardt Sr Signature series gold gargoyle sunglasses of 35 years just broke. They split right in the center and I am pretty bummed out about it. I know gargoyle makes an 85s gold with black frames that come pretty close but I just don't know how close.

    One question, are those sunglasses too big?
    I am 19 years old and I am thin, I do not know if they are too big
    by the way, the ones you show in the video is the normal model or the 85's classics?

    • @RubenGarcia-px5vy
      @RubenGarcia-px5vy  3 года назад +1

      the ones i am showing in the video are the now days classics, the width is 70mm, nowdays 85's are smaller, 66mm... you can find them on their website Gargoyleseyewear.com , people get confused with the sizes from the 1980's models and nowdays models. :)

    They are still not the original generation - and Arnie wears the brown/silver/red tint - not the silver ice.
    The originals are 40 years old - and holy grail stuff.
    The way to tell - the new glasses have the gargoyles emblem on the nose bridge in gold.
    The older glasses have the emblem but are blacked out, and the legs are not rubber and have Gargoyles and the gold logo on both sides.
    They're nice. But they are not identical.

      The new homage pair are no less beautiful. You will see my profile pic has the 85mm yellow shooters tint. Old 80's versi of na just have a leather case.
      I recommend modern rucker design or trench. They are awesome. The Arnie time is called rose, and aren't very nice to look at.
