This feature would be 10x more useful if selected units were highlighted in the shop in some green or red glow (we have grey for already owning a unit, silver border for two star and yellow border for three star)
I'm honestly surprised on how it took them this many years to port this from the mobile version into the PC version. Coding must be way harder than I imagine it to be.
I don't know about TFT but League is huge gigantic spaghetti code, they said that if they launch another skin like the definitive from Udyr it breaks the whole game. Even now the skins and UI from Wild Rift are way better than the PC.
they are headquarted in california, meaning they have all the diversity gay, trans, all this crap, no real talent. they cant code.
The real reason is probably that it was a low priority task
The mobile version is likely a completely seperate code base. And on top of that it is probably written in an entirely different programming language. In such an extremely huge code base as TFT has, they likely didn't port it, they just made it from scratch
is a common miss understanding with the word "port". The TFT mobile game and tft desktop are two different big projects which can communicate with one another.
with this in mind imagine that only the information that can be "communicated" is portable.. for example a patch where Sylas is changed from 60AD to 65AD. this can be "ported" because the information and logic behind AD has to be the same in both projects in order for them to communicate.
Things like skins/UI/loading screens and even bugs cannot be ported because they are used for communication but for the better experience of the user.. here the code is very different and cannot be "ported" the same way you cannot "port" the UI from valorant to league (even thought they have similar match making, similar design and use the same account)
In order for the team to get the team builder on desktop, they had to make it from scratch, maybe getting a little bit of inspiration from the mobile project.
Most of the time "port" means "moving" and is rarely used correctly, I hope my explanation helped you understand more about how this games are working :D
P.S: you can apply the same logic on any game/program you know
I've actually never used team planner whilst in a game before. Very interesting
Its actually pretty helpful. Be nice if it had multiple pages though and items, then you can have have quick look at what items you have and try for that comp
it wasnt in the game before but it was on the mobile version

I know its an old video, but currently, the teamplanner isnt working for a lot of people. I cant find anything about it being looked at, I hope I can get attention to it here.

That’s the same game planner that’s been on iPad and tablet sense I’ve been playing the game 2 years ago
hopefully this isn't the only surprise planned for next patch.... i was expecting more item bench space/new carousel...
Dont expect too much, regular patches isnt for big changes. New carousel or other new game mechanic usually come in new set, not even midset.

It's literally useless...I guess it can help new players concetrate on what champz they want to use but rather then that it's useless. If it would alow you to place them on the board or at least give items - would be much better
