The music. It's like 75% this music I swear and the rest is the epic story that appears to be hinted at. The actual game is super quiet and stretched out. There is no real intense emotional story to see that does what this trailer did. But I have to hand it to them. They can Hype a Game...

Anyone else love how weirdly cinematic this feels? Like, it’s people reacting to a trailer, and yet, how it’s edited makes it feel cinematic. Specifically, it’ll start cutting to other reactors in tune with the music, and there’s this moment where you hear HMK shout “This is a fucking trailer” before you even see him and he says it again. It’s just so well put together.
@Samurai Kibiji I share that feeling. It took me about month total, to make a cinematic trailer for with voice acting for Twilight Princess. Very beautiful edit btw, I come back almost every year to watch this and shed a tear everytime.

Breath of the wild is a perfect example of a game that had so much love and care put into it. Wish most developers did this

On a similar note, I recommend Tunic. There's an almost unhinged amount of polish and effort put into it.
3 years later and I'm still crying and hyped for the game.
This trailer in particular just DID IT haha. It was so well crafted to showcase the game while also swelling people's excitement for it.

I can't tell you how many times I've cried to this. Not only is the trailer simply beautiful, but few things bring me as much joy as seeing people bond over something like this and share a mutual love for it. Video games bring people together, and this is a wonderful example.

i get so many chills up my spine, and the voice acting for zelda when she cries?? OOF that just hits me right in the feels. Played with japanese dub instead of the english one because the english one doesn't sound as good.

Aw thanks man. Yeah the goal of this one WAS to create chills and goosebumps haha. I always love those trailers that highlight what people think, accolades, and stuff like that and this trailer really hit me when I wasn't even a Zelda fan in the slightest. So I wanted to highlight the community and make this for them and it became one of my first viral videos...Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
The guy crying was a whole mood.

every once in a while i like to get back to these videos and watch people get excited all over again. Even thou i finished this game, i get some feeling of excitement, emotion, some happyness that only the love fans gave to this trailer can give
I honestly watch this every few months due to our Zelda droughts, but I really hope to see another trailer to this degree in the coming couple of months.
2024 and this trailer still absolutely brings me to shivers and tears ever time. Even after having competed the game multiple times and spent hundreds of hours of it. This is the best trailer ever created for anything.
I'm gonna agree. I was not a Zelda fan what so ever when this dropped, but the music/editing/adventure/tone and so much just made me feel like I was WITNESSING something
The best part is how all of them become emotional. Nobody is able to hide it. Perfect mix of nostalgia and new adventure. Zelda magic at its best.

Nintendo has never done a better trailer reveal since. Also, kudos on the mashup editing. This is the way to do it instead of repeating the same clips over and over before the next section of the trailer starts.

its been five years and this trailer still brings up such strong emotions. one of my most favorite games of all time, it was amazing to experience this then and its amazing to relive it now.
I really like watching this trailer, not only cause I really love Nintendo and their games, but because their trailers remind me of what I was doing the moment I watched them. For this trailer I was on my way to NYC for the first time. My whole time there I spent the nights watching reaction videos. But the trailers remind me of the moments that made me happy. It’s weird that I need to see this stuff to be able to remember past events of my life. It’s like they are linked somehow but I am thankful Nintendo brings them out from wherever they are. I know they aren’t gone but I need something physical or visual to get them back and this events help a lot.

I first saw the trailer in the lunch line when on my last year of high school, at the time I wasn’t really fazed by the switch but when I saw this I was convinced. My dumbass ended up buying the switch let unfortunately. I didn’t get the switch until October because of the shortages and I didn’t get to play the game until Black Friday. I remember blowing my first paycheck ever on the switch 😂😂😂

Almost four years later and I’m still tearing up to this trailer. One of the best, if not *the* best trailer for a video game for me. I absolutely love this game and the soundtrack, one of my top favorites ever.
this game changed my life. I've played zelda ocarina of time as a kid and seeing this make me tear up everytime. Today we got the name and release date of the sequel to that game and I don't even have the wrods to describe how happy and excited I am. If I had to pay a hundred bucks to play it, I definitely would

bro i started playing this on emulator few days back , i didnt know anything about the story until few days back one of my frnds suggested it and after 30-40hrs of gameplay i came to see hows the community like and while watching everyone's reaction of the trailer i had goosebumps throughout this whole video it made me feel like im part of this community for years , truely never saw this level of emotion in a reaction before that too in a cinematic gameplay trailer , truely an amazing community you guys have here.

The Zelda community is literally second to none. The vast majority of us have been fans for a minimum of 20 years and a large portion of us going back farther than that. We literally “forced” the devs to create a cannon timeline to satisfy us lol. You should go watch the twilight princess e3 reveal from 2004 and see just how fucking into this we are lol. People were quite literally in tears. Zelda is the most important game franchise on the planet and every single one of us millions would literally die on that hill. Other fandoms are great but there is nothing like a Zelda fan . This franchise is apart of who we are as people

I'm 36, when I watched the trailer the first time, I got impressed, Watching this now, and after playing and finishing Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity 2 hours ago, make it so freaking amazing. Tears down, and emotions. Best game, sequels, stories, time lines, characters, effects, songs, etc... best ever in video game history.

2 days and its already 2022 and watching the trailer and the reactions for so many times, im still gettin' hyped and emotional...this trailer is masterfully put together...its a mixed of everything...there's wonder, curiosity, conflict, joy, sadness, fear, amazement and nostalgia to convey a story..BOTW is trully a masterpiece..looking forward to BOTW2..im eager to roam the map of hyrule once again.. :)

Back when this trailer dropped and this game was not yet released it was the most insane experience ever. Legit, not kidding. The hype I (and many others) felt for this game was UNREAL, legit something i had never felt before to this degree. This video perfectly summarizes it. The perfect trailer, the insane music, the hyped/emotional reactions... This is literally a time machine that brings me back to that time, and the feeling was WONDERFUL. Thank you for making this awesome video and making me feel the hype I felt once more!

There is a reason Breath of the Wild is my favorite game ever. I love it and every time I even just hear the music it makes me tear up. This is what video games are all about, this is why games exist- to bring us happiness and enjoyment
when you know the story and how hard zelda worked to full fill the espectation and save everyone but that wasnt enough it was like she has done nothing, those tears of her and she awakening the triforce gives me goosebumps and the music is just the perfect trailer
And at the time we had no context to that and were like "OH CRAP...EMOTIONS IN A ZELDA GAME?!"
If Smash is known for the Hype, the Zelda franchise just invokes a deep rooted passion in all of us. Its wonder.

I'm replaying this game after years of it sitting on my shelf. I'd completed everything in Master Mode.
I'm glad I waited. This game is just as epic the third time around. I can't wait for part 2
Tears. 3 years later and this still gives me such insane feels. Amazing job putting together all these reactions! This trailer is by far THE Best, most powerfully emotionally evocative trailer I've ever seen. The swell and drive and fall and rise of the music, coupled with the hard hitting reveals and the story that is hinted is truly breath taking... its wild! This paints EPIC With every breath. It makes us believe we are getting every bit of Zelda in exactly like we've always dreamed and then more, turned up to 11. I have lost count of how many times I've rewatched even the same reaction. HMK I know I watched a lot. But this compilation is continuous and brings a bunch of them together. I also can't tell you how many times this trailer and others reactions has brought me to tears. I was a bawling mess the first time, I had to go hang out in the bathroom for a while and collect myself. I can count on my fingers the number of full length movies that have done that, let alone a short trailer for what would be one of the best games I've ever played.
Few things are better than sharing what you're passionate about with other like minded people.
As it turns out though... this hype that spills out the eyes... made the game look like it was going to be much more epic than it turned out to be. Amazing, don't get me wrong, but if you watch this trailer you get a sense of cinematic glory that we would be participating in... and as it turns out everything was just a memory...
But no more. I believe BOTW2 will carry all the momentum from the well established past set up in the first game and drive it home in the second. We no longer will be uncovering our memories - we will be making new ones. And I Can. Not. Wait!

That was the goal as I'm not even a Zelda fan, but admit when I saw this trailer was SO DAMN IMPRESSED. Hence thought of doing this since I love seeing accolades and audience reaction marketing.
@@SamuraiKibiji I am 34. I remember playing the original zelda back in 5th grade. I bonded with my mother over the game and still to this day I get asked questions from her as she plays through another playthrough of link to the past. I haven't played all the zelda's but most of them. I've learned to play music from zelda which is so iconic to me I can't not love it. I have a bit of merch and and tshirts... I even once in elementary sold a picture I drew of link for 2 bucks, lol. I'm a fan.
So it might make sense that someone who carries such history would be emotionally moved by this trailer. But I've seen other grown ass men who DON'T cry, shed a tear over it. I watched someone who has never played a zelda game in their life get goosebumps from watching it. There's something about it that takes it to the next level and I hope Nintendo knows exactly what that is because this trailer is a PART of why I loved this game. It's a part of the experience. Love for both, the game and this trailer, which should be inconsequential but isn't, has a sort of synergy that elevates both.
I hope that since you're not a zelda fan... that this game has made you one. There are few franchises out there that get the love as much as zelda from both its fans and its developers.
