Yes. You are correct. Dimash competes only with himself in his commitment to continuous improvement in his craft. How does one improve on perfection? Hard to believe - but he DOES!
There are 3 versions of this song that I've seen, including the Video clip ( which has such stunning visuals that I found it hard to concentrate on the vocals ). Maybe that's the one you saw? Another is a live performance (where a girl on a wire with strap-on wings floats around - occasionally perched, worryingly, upon the piano} and this one - which, in my humble opinion, is absolute vocal perfection.
The juxtaposition of this incredible performance with the rows of 'uniforms', all with absolutely deadpan faces always cracks me up. I know it's a cultural thing & doesn't indicate any lack of appreciation - but still strikes my 'funny bone'! 😍😂😆🤣

This song was composed by Igor Krutoy and initially written by Lara in French with the title Je T'Aime Encore.
Then it was translated in Russian for Lara and had this english title Love of Tired Swans. She was thus the original performer of this russian version as well.
And then Dimash made his cover.

I still believe, despite his performance as a singer, that this song is post-produced. there's too much sonic inconsistency to hint at a live performance. all videos and clips featuring this song have the same quality and sound effect.
And so that takes something away from the beauty of it?!?
