I actually wanted to find the fastest NA ski and found a 2016 VXR. After a demo ride on a kaw 250 x, which was impressive, 2 hours and 20 gallons of 93 octane fuel. I was left watching the Yamaha's running around the lake for several more hours. The reality is I wanted to trade off some performance for more run time, since getting fuel on the lakes here is expensive and sometimes difficult. Different people have different needs , you may think it's a waste of money to buy parts that make a ski a little faster, I think it's a waste of money to dump 93 octane fuel into a ski.
