I don’t know if this has been said already, but it would be super easy to cut the jumpsuit short into a short jumpsuit for summer next year… if you love everything else about it.
I just came here to post the same thing! Michel you need a seamstress friend that can make those easy alterations for you :). Also that green shirt tied up is DARLING!
Your next sip and thrift should be Halloween themed ! Thrifting clothes that you could use for Halloween costumes 🎃🧡 maybe even couple costumes with your hubby or a friend ! 😋
Omg I thought I was the only one who can’t wait for fall. Summer was a blast but I’m over it..I’m ready for layering pieces and rich colored fabrics. Fingers 🤞crossed that the shout works it’s magic on that stain because it’s a beautiful sweater. I also think the acrylic top will work, maybe play around with the sleeves a bit because you’re right it’s a little unbalanced but a great piece, simple and sophisticated.
Not sure how it would work with this sweater, but my favorite favorite favorite stain remover is 1 part clear dish soap to 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. Spray (or pour) it on and scrub a little with an old toothbrush and rinse and repeat! I use it for everything from ink to berries to grease to blood and it has never failed me! If it’s a super stubborn stain I add some baking soda to make a loose paste and let it sit for a while, then scrub! Love that sweater so much, so I hope it’s salvageable!
The H&M Sweater was my favorite. Adding to my wishlist! :) The cowlneck sweater looked so perfect with your short hair too. Loved the jumpsuit from the top up too but unfortunate how short they made it. I would cut it like some have suggested. The green shirt was so pretty french tucked. I liked the linen shirt too just untucked and loose. Loved this video!! I'd love to see a thrifting for movie/tv characters outfit remake
I don't know if someone has told you this already but you need to try blue Dawn dish detergent for stains. Put some on the spot, let it sit overnight and then wash it. Considering that you paid little to nothing for the top it's worth a try. Good luck!
Loving the autumn 🍂 nod of this video...can’t wait for the cooler weather!! 😩 Looking forward to all the fall content to come from my favorite RUclipsrs. 🧡
The cowl neck looks great on you! I have a round face and not a super long neck so I always think they make me look round but maybe I’ll try a relaxed one for fall!
I noticed about halfway down the sleeve of the linen shirt is a button which usually means the sleeves roll up and button. Just a thought because I do think it would look better up and of course the wrinkles steamed. I’m kinda of on board with your initial thoughts on the jumpsuit too about the legs looking goucho-ie. But this was such a fun little video, I love Sip and Thrift and part of thrifting is getting some things that might not work. But then think of all the cute stuff that does!
After a thrift and I’m in the car I feel soooo accomplished and love seeing the price breakdown “i got THAT for how much? Yessss” and I feel like you just embodied that feeling lol
I agree with you about the jumpsuit...really cute from the waist up! I actually liked the linen top un-tucked, the brown sweater was super cute but a lot of stains...hopefully you can get them out. The cardigan looks sooo comfy!! And the green button down was really nice! Basically everything looked great on you!!
Regarding the jumpsuit: I think there’s enough fabric that you could turn the legs into a skirt, so it would become a dress. And if you really just like the top part, you could also cut off the legs and hem the top so it’s a cute shirt with a tie waist. ☺️
To get the stain off use 1 part Dawn orignal dish soap and 2 parts peroxide, it gets out anything! My daughter plays softball 🥎 and she gets dirt all over her mostly white uniform and this gets it all out, even with a bloody nose incident than ran through her uniform and had to time to set in until we got home. You’re welcome 😉
The linen top maybe you could roll the sleeves for an effortless look, and just try them with different bottoms til you find the right look! I love the linen free people vibes
Love the cardigan, I personally don’t love the cut of the jumpsuit, but I really hope you can get the stains out of the cowl neck sweater because that’s also super cute!
I would crop the jumpsuit. Just have someone turn it into a long shorts romper…i really like the linen top..it’s cute…if the stain doesn’t come out of the sweater, buy some Rit dye in a dark color and dye it. I’ve done that a million times.
I love the pattern on the first one ! I agree that it's better from the waist up, so I would cut it to make a tank top ! It would be really cute ! Great video Michel ! As usual !
I'm sorry but the linen top looks a bit potato sacky, I would try cropping it and steam it and it may look really good though? I would either crop the jumpsuit into a romper or put a cream colored cropped sweater over it
I love the jumpsuit on you and think it would be cute as a romper. I also really liked that linen shirt! I think it would be cute with some white jeans and sandals.
I hope that stain comes out of the cowl neck sweater. It’s so stinkin’ cuteee. Don’t love the linen shirt~ also! For some reason your videos no longer pop up on my feed so I assumed you disappeared. Glad that’s not the case!!☺️
Alrighty... The jumpsuit almost looks like an animal print from a distance and I don't love where it hits you like just below the knee. I would say alter it to be a blouse or alter the length so it's shorts. The linen shirt is screaming to be paired with a super high waisted pair of jeans or white pants. If the fabric is too much at the bottom I would suggest cropping it just a smidge so that it's easier to tuck in. Alternatively you can alter the shirt and out of steam down the back so that way there's less fabric and it's more fitted. If the bodice is more fitted than the sleeves won't feel as large. The cowell neck should be dyed if you can't get the stains out. It looks amazing on you and fits so nicely even just dying at a darker brown would hide the stains and still allow you to wear it. The green shirt is so unbelievably perfect for you. Loving having sip and thrifts back!
Love the sweater. I hope you can get the stains out! I also really liked the green shirt at the end. I wasn't digging any of the other ones, but thats just me. I think that you should do what feels right for you (:
I love The cardigan and the sweater and green shirt now the other shirt reminds me of a potato sack - you make it look good of course the jumpsuit needs to be shorts. I am so ready for fall
I wanna see you roll the legs of the jumpsuit a bit, then you could sew it that way and it might be cute! Also pretty sure you can roll the sleeves of linen shirt.
The Jumpsuit is cute but I think if you cut it to make it a shirt it would be cute. Linen shirt sleeves look like they roll up and attach to the buttons. It could be cute. Love the green shirt. The shirt with the stains would be great if you could get all of the stains out of it. There are a few on the front not just one. Love the "Sip and Thrifts" . Yes do them again. Hugs and blessings
I use d-solv-it on stains. Especially stains that are oil-based. I would spray that on and then spray on some OxiClean stain remover spray and see if it comes out
Don’t cut the jumpsuit! Style it more, put a white turtleneck under it, tons of gold jewelry, and then put on some brown heeled riding boots! They have be the tall almost knee high ones to work.
The jumpsuit would be cute if the legs were longer. I kinda like the second top you tried on the cow neck top was not my favorite loved the cardigan don’t like the green top if it was just a tad smaller it would be cute and still have that oversized feel, but it’s too overwhelming.
Sip n thrift is how I found you! 😍😄 Maybe make the jumpsuit into a top! I don't like the Italy shirt...Love the green shirt too!!! The cardigan is cute too.
I don’t know if this has been said already, but it would be super easy to cut the jumpsuit short into a short jumpsuit for summer next year… if you love everything else about it.

You should do a video transforming the items you were iffy on into new, wearable pieces :)
Girl this hair cut is everything on you!
Would love to see you do a sip and thrift clothes for your husband.

Sip&Thrifts are my FAVORITE thing you do on your channel!!!
AWE!!! Let’s do more!🥰🥰
I am SO ready for fall! Bring on the cozy sweaters & hikes in colourful forests.
Not sure how it would work with this sweater, but my favorite favorite favorite stain remover is 1 part clear dish soap to 2 parts hydrogen peroxide. Loved the greenish looking top too..
Really enjoy your Sip and Thrifts. 😊
The stained sweater is so cute, hope you get those stains out. The cardigan looks really nice too. 😊 Can’t wait for Fall 🍂🍁
Loving the autumn 🍂 nod of this video...can’t wait for the cooler weather!! 😩 Looking forward to all the fall content to come from my favorite RUclipsrs. 🧡
I love the last three items!!! I hope that stain comes out!
After a long day of work, one of your sip and thrift videos is just what I needed to watch in bed with a cup of tea 🥺💗
The cowl neck looks great on you! I have a round face and not a super long neck so I always think they make me look round but maybe I’ll try a relaxed one for fall!
The linen top was my fav!!!! So cute and effortless
My new favorite RUclipsr ❤
Try Fels Naptha on the stain, it works wonders!
I actually really love the linen shirt. It's super cute
Hope you are feeling better! 💜😊
I loved the jumpsuit on you. I think it looked great and the wide legs looked very current
You should turn the jumpsuit into a romper!
Came onto RUclips to check for a new video and this was posted 3 seconds ago from when I saw it! My day is all better now. ❤
So happy you’re here!🥲🥲🥲
@@MichelJanse oh girl... I've been watching all your videos! You make my days so much better!!
After a thrift and I’m in the car I feel soooo accomplished and love seeing the price breakdown “i got THAT for how much? Yessss” and I feel like you just embodied that feeling lol
Gosh that green shirt fits you so WELL!!!!
Agree about the romper.
I love sip and thrift !!!
It looks like you can roll the sleeves on the linen shirt. I think it would look great on you with denim and brown boots!
Love your sip & thrifts! I adore the green button up. Thanks for sharing!
I love this! Great finds! I love your jeans too!!
I neeeeed that green button up. I love😍😍😍
I would love to see a sip and thrift challenge where you shop for natural fabrics - linen, wool, silk, cashmere, maybe even high end cotton 😊
Your outfit in this video is so cute🤎✨ and so is everything you found!
Regarding the jumpsuit: I think there’s enough fabric that you could turn the legs into a skirt, so it would become a dress. And if you really just like the top part, you could also cut off the legs and hem the top so it’s a cute shirt with a tie waist. ☺️
Loved the fit of the cardigan!!!
I’m so happy I found it!😍😍😍
I love your RUclips channel and I am really glad i found your podcast!! Ps: I am from Norway and it is so cool that you have been there♥️
I love the green shirt and the H&M sweater. The H&M sweater makes me want one.
Love the green shirt. I would pass on the yellow dress and keep the linen shirt, I like how it looked on you.
You can have the jumpsuit hemmed! It would looks so cute with the leg length at shorter length.
The White/grey cardigan is my favorite ☺️ but the green shirt is cute 👍 TKS for the video ❣️
You should do a thrift flip video!
Try dawn dish soap, apparently that stuff works miracles on difficult stains.
The dress shirt looks so nice tied. The jumper is cute but an odd length. You look adorable in everything!
I really like the line shirt, especially if paired with black leggings.
The linen top maybe you could roll the sleeves for an effortless look, and just try them with different bottoms til you find the right look! I love the linen free people vibes
love love love your hair, make up and jewelry!!! 😍
I’d wash them first before trying on, you found some great deals.
Love the cardigan, I personally don’t love the cut of the jumpsuit, but I really hope you can get the stains out of the cowl neck sweater because that’s also super cute!
I wish I had your palette. I loveeee sweets and the sweeter the better to me! Lol
If the stains won't come out of the acrylic shirt, you can always dye it a darker color.
could you try dyeing the sweater?
The jumpsuit color looks great on you - I would cut the bottom off and just wear as a longer top with or without the belt.
I would crop the jumpsuit. Just have someone turn it into a long shorts romper…i really like the linen top..it’s cute…if the stain doesn’t come out of the sweater, buy some Rit dye in a dark color and dye it. I’ve done that a million times.
Maybe try cutting it into a romper then folding the ends
Love the cardigan on you .The green shirt also looks nice. The cowl looks cute to, hope the stains come out.
You should try to do a thrift flip with clothing!
michel if the stain cant come out, dont donate it, just dye it ❤️🩹
I love the pattern on the first one ! I agree that it's better from the waist up, so I would cut it to make a tank top ! It would be really cute ! Great video Michel ! As usual !
Did you get the stain out?? You left us hanging! 😂
I think that linen shirt would be really cute made into something else 😍
Honestly I wish I could sew!😂😂
Could you do some cooking videos on occasion? I'm struggling to get veggies in and I just don't know how to use them. Especially for breakfast
I'm sorry but the linen top looks a bit potato sacky, I would try cropping it and steam it and it may look really good though? I would either crop the jumpsuit into a romper or put a cream colored cropped sweater over it
The green shirt on you was everything. I like the jumpsuit on you as well. Love the sweater and you can also try oxy stain removal. 👍❤
Cut the jumpsuit into a two piece 😸
Where can I duplicate the pictures with natural frames that you have in your room?
Yay im here!🙌😃
YAY YAY!!!
Spray the stains with hairspray and scrub with a mild dish soap.
ONE MONTH TIL FALL!
NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED😭😭
and the romper needs a thicker belt but not within the holes to make more sense
Alrighty... The jumpsuit almost looks like an animal print from a distance and I don't love where it hits you like just below the knee. I would say alter it to be a blouse or alter the length so it's shorts.

The green shirt is so unbelievably perfect for you. Loving having sip and thrifts back!
The Italy shirt has buttons on the sleeve, maybe it was meant to have a cinch or tie to bring the sleeves up?
Love the sweater. I hope you can get the stains out! I also really liked the green shirt at the end.
I wasn't digging any of the other ones, but thats just me. I think that you should do what feels right for you (:
September 22nd is my due date! ❤️❤️
OMGGGG CONGRATS!🥰🥰🥰 little fall bb!!!
@@MichelJanse thank you! Our pregnancy announcement was pumpkin themed! Lol
Congratulations! Hope this next month & recovery goes smoothly!🥰
The jumpsuit is cute! I think that wide leg, knee/calf length style is coming back? I've been seeing it a lot anyways!
The skull!! 😂😵
I love The cardigan and the sweater and green shirt now the other shirt reminds me of a potato sack - you make it look good of course the jumpsuit needs to be shorts. I am so ready for fall
Like green shirt
What in your matcha and what cafe did you when and ordered?
😅gotta love that jump scare
Idk how I didn’t notice it… I’m worried for my survival instincts 😂
I wanna see you roll the legs of the jumpsuit a bit, then you could sew it that way and it might be cute! Also pretty sure you can roll the sleeves of linen shirt.
I love the linen top. I would go for more of a lagenlook outfit untucked with some relaxed pants. Or maybe belted with some skinny and ankle booties.
My favorite girl 🥰
😭🤍😭🤍😭
So did stain come out from oatmeal sweater? It looked like more than 1 stain?
Green blouse- yes
Jumpsuit- nope
Comfy pullover-yes
The Jumpsuit is cute but I think if you cut it to make it a shirt it would be cute. Linen shirt sleeves look like they roll up and attach to the buttons. It could be cute. Love the green shirt. The shirt with the stains would be great if you could get all of the stains out of it. There are a few on the front not just one. Love the "Sip and Thrifts" . Yes do them again. Hugs and blessings
I would shorten the legs of the jumpsuit and turn it into a romper!
I agree wi
We all want to know...did you get the stains out of that amazing sweater?!?!
I think the jumpsuit would be an easy fix, just shorten the pants. As a short jumpsuit I think it would look a lot cuter!!
Awe!!! OOH LOVE THE IDEA OF TURNING IT INTO A TOP
