    What mens brands are your favorite to sell?

  • @5797029

    Back in the days when we did clothing, those were among the ones we were looking for.
    A few others were quick sellers at a pretty good price.
    Dragonfly, Eton, Travis Mathew, Willam Murray (better known as Bill Murray), Indian Motorcycle, Ferrari and Big Johnson tees (yes, that one).
    After a while, you can spot the good ones, even if you don't recognize the name, by just feeling them.

    How are you handling the insane pricing at GW? The Robert Grahams for instant are over 20 bucks, Tommy Bahama if 15 bucks, just insane.

      I don't source there. Sourcing at goodwill and thrift shops is a way to START a reselling business, but not scale it

    14:25 that shirt looks dope, if he did buy it now he could’ve gotten $21 and shipping easily. Floral is better than striped but that one is colorful

    I don't have luck selling clothing on EBay it's a saturated market and if I do they want me to drop the price by 80 percent lol 😂

      Totally agree. I get better profits selling to buy-sell stores than on Ebay. Because EB wants you to discount down to the penny 😀I have to source clothing at very low prices. Except for luxury, and I give luxury to the RealReal and consigners to sell for me.

    You were inflating the sold prices by including shipping in each price. False true sold price. We don't make significant profit off shipping.

    • @CountryJunkersLife
      @CountryJunkersLife Год назад +5

      He is not inflating, he is simply giving total sold dollar amounts. You have to account for your costs including shipping, eBay fees, and cost of goods to figure your net profit.

      Most people include shipping when they are considering buying the item. They are not going to pay more than they think the item is worth. If they think it's a $30 shirt they are looking for $30 total. That is why eBay says "Highest - Lowest with Shipping". He's basically saying someone is willing to pay $30 total for a shirt from this brand.

    I don't sell too much men's clothing nowadays but here are some of the ones I've sold recently:
    Levi's - you have to be selective obviously and not pay up too much but some styles and sub lines have been doing great for me: Premium styles (search by style number), Levi's Skate, any of the styles with Cordura fabric, certain vintage styles, certain collabs, and I find the styles that are made with their Flex fabric do better than their regular denim counterparts.
    On that same note, I generally don't pick most of this brand up but some Wrangler pieces have done extremely well for me- their Retro line is performing well especially their pearl snaps.
    Tailor Vintage - it doesn't sell as high as it used to but still sells fast, as long as I don't pay too much. I stick to the jeans/tech pants.
    Abercrombie - again, I wouldn't pay up but it's not that hard to find and resells higher than a lot of similar brands. Anything y2k is doing really well.
    Zara - I'm pretty selective and careful not to pay too much, but it sells faster for me than pretty much any other fast fashion brand.
    Diesel - I only pick up the jeans but they do very well in men's (not in women's).
    Summer only brand: Duvin Design Co. I stumbled upon this brand this past spring, they sell brightly printed graphic print swim trunks and polos. I picked them up retail arbritrage and made tons of money.
    Not a brand but - I try to pick up selvedge jeans whenever I can, especially japanese selvedge. They always have a following and I've sold them hemmed and in unusual sizes too.

      Many many times I end up taking those brands he's mentioning to the Buy-sell shops because they are slow sellers online.

    • @mayakoyama9130
      @mayakoyama9130 Год назад

      @@Chicago48 I really think people need to be more vigilant (including myself in this) about looking up comps for each particular piece they buy and not just buying or passing brands on sight anymore. For example I don't buy most Tommy Bahama pieces but there are some I've made great money on and were definitely worth picking up. A lot of people pass over Wrangler but if I passed over all Wrangler, I would have missed out on the Wrangler men's corduroy pants that I sold today for $40 on ebay. The market for clothing on ebay is so saturated now I think looking up individual pieces is essential.
