I watch the other channel but this one popped up today. I admire people that are so relaxed about hosting..it is a gift. So enjoyed your theme last year for Christmas. Very few thrift stores here and not much to choose from. Looking forward to all your events.🍂
I loved seeing how you prepared for your holiday events. I used to greatly enjoy decorating for Christmas. Now I don’t get much done. Since my kids won’t be around and my health isn’t good, I’m not motivated to even get my tree up. I may just put up the tiny tree that I had given my mother. It’s only about a foot tall and I had made all the tiny ornaments from clay. Thanks for the inspiration and entertainment. 😊
@@The_Curated_Life I am lucky if I can accomplish Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am impressed with with what you strive for ❤️❤️❤️ Best of luck getting it done and enjoying yourself!
*No Need to Re-Invent the Wheel* . I love your philosophy on event planning, find a system that works and run with it. I'm late to the game on my Autumn decorating as I've been immersed in a bedroom make-over. My brain and spirit needed to do something creative today so I banged out seven arrangement, switched pillow covers and throws and now my house is a mess but Autumnally styled. It was 70 degrees yesterday in Upstate NY, today is 43 and rainy, great inspo for getting my cozy on.
I love a list maker!! In our house the first item is always, “Make a list” so you have one thing accomplished right away. I am now going to be on the lookout for silver plate after seeing your video.
Thank you! I thought splitting the two would be the best thing. And I am LOVING this channel and cannot wait to post more content for the holidays!! ❤❤❤
This is really starting to get me excited for the Holidays! I've always wanted to host a tea party with mixed-matched (is that the word LOL) sets and let everyone take home their own set. I have one thrift store that prices dishware and glasses about 10 - 25 cents a piece. Seeing stacks of dishes makes me sad. Wish they would price them more reasonably - while I know we appreciate older items, you could buy new things cheaper.
Sherri, great video I have the same two devil egg dishes in which are vintage. I have had mine for a great while and love them, too. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
Yep I’m simple I have the red turkey plates just the plates and then I use our clear glass for the rest of the place setting. The silver plate idea is great I have 6 place mats that look like leaves and I’m having 12 people to host. Any ideas for me darling we think so alike! I’m already setting my table for Thanksgiving it’s going to be all white table cloth and napkins and I’m buying the red cabbage and putting candle in the fake ones I have lol
Susan, the silver trays as chargers is such a classic look. And any plate looks so good on top of them. I also mixed and match chargers. I don't have 12 identical ones for the folding tables so I used two different chargers that coordinated with the look of the table.
I purchased a lead testing kit from Amazon because I have to test my thrift finds for lead please think of testing the tea cups for lead I had a ton I had to get rid of so I hammered them in a bag and may make a mosaic on canvas :(
Renee, no I wasn't. I think most Hobby Lobby's have the same layout and look similar. Weaverville is such a cute place. I would love to visit sometime. ❤❤❤
Can't wait for wreath video
❤rewatching again for the algorithm gods 😅😮
I agree , some homes do look just like the store 😉
I hope you make a video of the wreath making party. What a great idea...
I sure am, Susan. Should be posted next week. I am excited to share the process. ❤❤❤
Sherri, I'd love to see a video with your wreath making tips, especially how to make a beautiful statement ribbon. Love your curated style ❤️🍁🐿️
I'll be sure to include the wreath making party in a video which should include a lot of wreath inspo. Thank you for watching! ❤❤❤
This the season when your home comes alive with holiday beauty and I’m here for it! 7 events? Wowsers! You can do it!
Sue, I am hoping I can stay on task and get everything planned with little to no stress. Fingers crossed!!! ❤❤❤

Thank you so much! I will certainly enjoy watching you and celebrating the season vicariously through your efforts.

Kathy, these are extremely heavy and I LOVE them so much! ❤❤❤
I went on a Christmas tour of homes last year in Concord, NC. It was so much fun and I would go again, didn’t see all the homes last year.
Raleigh also has a Christmas home tour that I would LOVE to visit but it conflicts with another holiday event I'm having.
