I think rather than HYBE, this shows the dancing styles of Bighit since the two groups featured are from there. Since HYBE is an amalgamation of different companies, I feel like there should also be an inclusion of Pledis’ Nu’est and Seventeen and Be:lift’s Enhypen to really showcase HYBE since these groups trained with their own companies rather than with HYBE. Otherwise, this is just a comparison of SM, JYP, YG and Bighit.
ENHYPEN mostly trained by BigHit though. Most of the members are from BigHit & Son Sondeuk is also their choreographer (same with BTS, TXT). But its Yes for SEVENTEEN. Since they are adopted, fully trained by their own company. And they should’ce included them. At least ENHYPEN.

Yes, that's right. On fancams, each member's dance styles and vibe are unique. It's just that when they are put into a group, when you look at the whole group and in a bigger picture, they're all like one. YG, on the other hand, shows all members' characters and expressions, and styles in their own ways, so I think that's why it's easy for even professional dancers can catch each member's styles among one group dancing together.
I like SM's choreographies the most but with YG, it's more versatile. The songs and the choreography always feel like you can jam and freestyle with them easily and it's meant for big events like concerts and festival. I also love the earlier choreographies of JYP cause they're also very memorable and catchy. Who can forget the iconic 'nobody'?
I really like HYBE's dance style like it's so powerfully perfect, everything so synchronized and their powerful moves kills the whole stage presence,they kill every beats with the powerful moves, I really love their style 🔥
HYBE has the most synchronised and powerful choreography. They always have high jump, fast footworks in their dances. Also their choreos requires a lot of power.
I'm not surprised that they often almost faint because they are so exausted after their performances because of intense dancing, but thanks to their hard work their performances are always top notch
starting to realize that hybe has the most intense and synchronized groups, sm has unique movements but very clean so it doesn't look odd, jyp loves their formations and big movements, while yg kinda just feels the rhythm of the song and has a viral move for the chorus (I wish they could show more of their dancers skills but they're doing a better job with treasure's choreo)
NCT U, 127, Dream and WayV have the most intense and synchronised choreos and they're not under HYBE. Under HYBE, only SVT has that. Wakey Wakey, Firetruck, thr 7th Sense etc. Are untouched. Wakey Wakey esp is among the hardest bg choreos in Kpop due to how many elements it has. If you don't do it well, it ends up look terrible and messy as members have very different parts among themselves during many sections of the choreo
well YGE is a hip-hop company even though they use to hv a ballad or rnb soloist or group, even SE7EN who's also use to be under YGE hv a dance song & his dance is so freaking amazing. Also BIGBANG & 2NE1 during their young day, they hv that freaking intense & synchronised dance but they break it bcs they want to enjoy the song more then having intense dance. Also if you look up during BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, iKON & BLACKPINK young days you can see how perfect their dance skils is. Just bcs now days they use not hv more intense choreo doesn't mean their dance skills is not show, it's just it is their way to do more swag & freestyle choreo.

I just love YG’s style so carefree and cool, they focus on gestures and facial expressions. They know how to entertain a crowd. That’s why they’re sought after for festivals or big crowd gathering events.
YG artists focus on live stages and less about choreo cuz they have stage presence & swag so they don’t need heavy choreo but Treasure is a heavy choreo group that have it all so they’re definitely special 🤩 JikJin especially has hard choreo 💎
For me ,SM is first when it comes to dance, they have the best dancers in the kpop industry . And their choreographies are always top tier. As that girsl said "they show the best example of idol dance". "sm idols groups express the standard choreography the best " 👌🏻.

i think they picked darari because 1: its recent and 2: it has the chill vibes that they wanted to point out when they were talking about YG choreographies. jikjin, boy, and MMM have a more intense vibe and are less YG in some ways in my opinion, those songs kind of feel like YG is trying something new by adding more synchronized dance type choreographies to their roster.

JYP and their focus on telling a story through dance is what attracts me to them. SKZ are masters at conveying their song lyrics into the choreography to tell the story and they have great input in it so it feels infinitely authentic. Every move is part of the story and it’s not just a gimmick that may look cool but overall has no meaning. Twice and Itzy’s choreo also has this element.
WINNER might not have the sharpest, most intense choreos in the video, but one can't deny that their choreos have the easiest to recall, and easier to follow. WINNER represents YGE's chill, cool, swag dance moves the company is commonly known for
Honestly they totally described JYP dance style perfectly, like there is a lot of creativity, just like they said the moves are made to portray the lyrics which not only gets you intrigued but makes it fun to watch, and I want to add how formations are a important part of their choreography ( Twice flower formation) not just in the choreography but the begin and the end like look at ITZY with their crown formation ending ( so satisfying hehe) , I guess these are some of the reasons why I really love not Just groups of JYP but the Dance style as well

YG is not just coolness and swag and we know that which is why we have Darari and Orange but from the theme of the video the PD should've picked BOY or JIKJIN and that is their latest title song tho! I was surprised that Enhypen was not included in this video for HYBE. Their choreo is absolutely insane and they are probably one of the best 4th gen groups in dance. Even one of their choreographers said they were told to make the choreo hard because Enhypen will get it and he said they are so good. He choreographed for BTS, TXT and Enhypen.

I think you should choose a song with a similar beat or the same genre to compare. Of course a slow song is not possible with a fast dance or a heavy dance. They all can dance well and I like it btw

I'm a JYP entertainment stan when it comes to choreography and catchy music. Their choreographers really embody originality making it more fun to watch the idols' dance performances. Other companies are also good like SM and Hybe but I usually just watch the M/V itself and not much of the dance choreography since their movements are already familiar to me.

No hate, but in my opinion yg is also about being different, having fun, and individualism too, not just hip hop… winner’s dance practices embodies that individualism pretty damn well (I mean they could’ve showed bang bang bang too, has the same feel to it, all 5 have such different styles) and it depends on opinion whether ppl like it or not but it is very yg style. Darari’s dance practice gives the cute and fun feeling that is very rare in fourth gen or even other companies now, I think that is being different from others. Don’t think it has to be about hip hop and intense choreo, cuz yg has never been about that. I think individualism is the gist of YG. But then I also get why people want them to react to ikon and treasure’s harder choreographies to break the stereotype that yg artists can’t dance. But that’s not really necessary cuz we all know they’re amazing dancers and don’t have to prove themselves.

7:06 btw NCT DREAM have dances like that. Eg- Dive into you. NCT is not limited to a particular genre whether its their dance or music and that's their merit. If you look at NCT dream We Young,Go basically their dance in old songs are creative and lyrics detailed. During early years their dances were tough from beginning to end .Now in their 7th year,the dance is hardcore only in dance break and chorus (not most times eg Boom,Sticker) it has become free. Basically at first their style changed from JYP,HYPE (with a lil touch of SM in line formations) and now they went to a mixture of SM×YG

SM is just so good for the eye, even if the choreo goes hatd tgey manage to make it look simple, as if they were born to do it, like it's their nature. I've been a pink blood for 10+ years and following all tge groups. It really is the best idol dance style. Also for NCT I'd say they follow the classic hiphop concept the most among the groups that exists now. Also SM really pays attention to details like angkes, lines, space. Also it's so cool to see how unit dance became common among other groups after NCT started using it in all of their dances. Like even their senior groups adopted it which is really appreciable. You guys summed up jyp well. As for yg.... It's almost like freestyle, like they're thinking about concert performance while making the choreo(I miss bb TT). Every company has their own dancing style but when it comes to best dancers individually, SM just take the banton. My most favourite choreos comes from NCT bcs their choreo looks cool, hard, energetic and full of swag. NCT has their own unique style of dancing. I really wish u guys could react to all main dancers of NCT(Ten, Taeyong, Shotaro, Jisung) to see difference in their dancing styles.
Honestly that's why i like YG especially in 4th gen when its literally just a dance competitions going on , YG artists still have more freedom of expression on stage. of course treasure is definitely the most dance centric group ever in YG but still they also have that groove and do freestyle which i personally love. Because as much as it is nice to look at synchronised movements and every memeber doing the same thing. I like it more when each member can perform and express themselves like an artists and not just idols. I like how YG promotes individualism and together they're always the powerhouses.

It doesn't even embody YG dance style in my opinion. They should've pick from iKon's cause they have that swag and laid back type of dancing which YG is known for.
For me, i love SM's choreographies. It's dynamic, smooth and clean. And the artists have this natural swag when they do it and add their own dance style to it. The subtle and minimal movements make it more impactful and engaging. You can see their own styles but at the same time they can be synchronized as well. Most SM choreographies are not into "big and strong" movements. They are more on control, flow and fluidity of the movements, which for me are more difficult due to the amount of body control.

HYBE choro always goes either with the style of the music or the message of the lyric's and they don't remain with one style of dance either just like their music and they'll mix different styles of dance just has they mix different genre of music. They are extremely adaptable and don't relay simple on one single element or style. Versatility is the key.

WINNER's Soso has a very unique and intense choreography..but they obviously picked the dances that best represents YG, in this case the choreography for 2 of the most popular songs..Even iKON's But You has a very easy choreography that anybody can have groove to..Of course YG idols for eg. Taeyang, Lisa, Hoony, Dk, Jihnwan can execute complex choreography if they wanted to but they choose to focus on entertaining & connecting with the public without performing like they are in a dance competition..tht is why i Love love watching their live performances..
I would say I personally like SM's dance style the best, Kasper-nim is just a top-tire choreographer. But as an individual dancer, J-Hope all the way takes the crown for me.

I applaud YG for going the freestyle route since free-styling is actually harder than synchronized dancing because the moves are improvised and aren't 'prepared' beforehand. But I do sometimes find their choreography as a whole to be a bit messy since everyone is doing their own thing and I'm not particularly sure who I'm supposed to watch at the time. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a center. Although their laid-back dancing is easy to follow along with and doesn't tire out the idols, I do wish to see more intense dancing from them. Since they have banger songs, the laid-back dancing kind of makes it have an anticlimactic effect. Just like stated in the video, their dancing is meant for concerts and parties.
Yup, BTS / Bighit has the hardest and most difficult choreo of all. That's why BTS is unmatched. Nobody can reach their tension levels. There is this crazy energy. That's why their concerts are always incredibly fun and they sell out stadiums. It's an overload of energy from start to finish AND they always sing live on top of it. They're just freaking good dancers and their choreos are the best by far.
Honestly, l will go with YG, they gat the moves, swag and stage presence. Instead of dancing too much, they go with the rhythm. They know how to entertain. They are talented. I love them.

starting to realize that hybe has the most intense and synchronized groups, sm has unique movements but very clean so it doesn't look odd, jyp loves their formations and big movements, while yg kinda just feels the rhythm of the song and has a viral move for the chorus (I wish they could show more of their dancers skills but they're doing a better job with treasure's choreo)
NCT U, 127, Dream and WayV have the most intense and synchronised choreos and they're not under HYBE. Under HYBE, only SVT has that. Wakey Wakey, Firetruck, thr 7th Sense etc. Are untouched. Wakey Wakey esp is among the hardest bg choreos in Kpop due to how many elements it has. If you don't do it well, it ends up look terrible and messy as members have very different parts among themselves during many sections of the choreo

well YGE is a hip-hop company even though they use to hv a ballad or rnb soloist or group, even SE7EN who's also use to be under YGE hv a dance song & his dance is so freaking amazing. Also BIGBANG & 2NE1 during their young day, they hv that freaking intense & synchronised dance but they break it bcs they want to enjoy the song more then having intense dance. Also if you look up during BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, iKON & BLACKPINK young days you can see how perfect their dance skils is. JYP and their focus on telling a story through dance is what attracts me to them. SKZ are masters at conveying their song lyrics into the choreography to tell the story and they have great input in it so it feels infinitely authentic. Every move is part of the story and it’s not just a gimmick that may look cool but overall has no meaning. Twice and Itzy’s choreo also has this element.
WINNER might not have the sharpest, most intense choreos in the video, but one can't deny that their choreos have the easiest to recall, and easier to follow.

Honestly they totally described JYP dance style perfectly, like there is a lot of creativity, just like they said the moves are made to portray the lyrics which not only gets you intrigued but makes it fun to watch, and I want to add how formations are a important part of their choreography ( Twice flower formation) not just in the choreography but the begin and the end like look at ITZY with their crown formation ending ( so satisfying hehe) , I guess these are some of the reasons why I really love not Just groups of JYP but the Dance style as well

I was surprised that Enhypen was not included in this video for HYBE. Their choreo is absolutely insane and they are probably one of the best 4th gen groups in dance. Even one of their choreographers said they were told to make the choreo hard because Enhypen will get it and he said they are so good. He choreographed for BTS, TXT and Enhypen.

I'm a JYP entertainment stan when it comes to choreography and catchy music. Their choreographers really embody originality making it more fun to watch the idols' dance performances. Other companies are also good like SM and Hybe but I usually just watch the M/V itself and not much of the dance choreography since their movements are already familiar to me.

No hate, but in my opinion yg is also about being different, having fun, and individualism too, not just hip hop… winner’s dance practices embodies that individualism pretty damn well (I mean they could’ve showed bang bang bang too, has the same feel to it, all 5 have such different styles) and it depends on opinion whether ppl like it or not but it is very yg style. Darari’s dance practice gives the cute and fun feeling that is very rare in fourth gen or even other companies now, I think that is being different from others.
Don’t think it has to be about hip hop and intense choreo, cuz yg has never been about that. I think individualism is the gist of YG. But then I also get why people want them to react to ikon and treasure’s harder choreographies to break the stereotype that yg artists can’t dance. If you look at NCT dream We Young,Go basically their dance in old songs are creative and lyrics detailed. During early years their dances were tough from beginning to end .Now in their 7th year,the dance is hardcore only in dance break and chorus (not most times eg Boom,Sticker) it has become free. Basically at first their style changed from JYP,HYPE (with a lil touch of SM in line formations) and now they went to a mixture of SM×YG

SM is just so good for the eye, even if the choreo goes hatd tgey manage to make it look simple, as if they were born to do it, like it's their nature. I've been a pink blood for 10+ years and following all tge groups. It really is the best idol dance style. Also for NCT I'd say they follow the classic hiphop concept the most among the groups that exists now. Also SM really pays attention to details like angkes, lines, space. Also it's so cool to see how unit dance became common among other groups after NCT started using it in all of their dances. Like even their senior groups adopted it which is really appreciable. You guys summed up jyp well. As for yg.... It's almost like freestyle, like they're thinking about concert performance while making the choreo(I miss bb TT). Honestly that's why i like YG especially in 4th gen when its literally just a dance competitions going on , YG artists still have more freedom of expression on stage. of course treasure is definitely the most dance centric group ever in YG but still they also have that groove and do freestyle which i personally love. For me, i love SM's choreographies. It's dynamic, smooth and clean. And the artists have this natural swag when they do it and add their own dance style to it. The subtle and minimal movements make it more impactful and engaging. You can see their own styles but at the same time they can be synchronized as well.
Most SM choreographies are not into "big and strong" movements. They are more on control, flow and fluidity of the movements, which for me are more difficult due to the amount of body control.

HYBE choro always goes either with the style of the music or the message of the lyric's and they don't remain with one style of dance either just like their music and they'll mix different styles of dance just has they mix different genre of music. They are extremely adaptable and don't relay simple on one single element or style. Versatility is the key.

WINNER's Soso has a very unique and intense choreography..but they obviously picked the dances that best represents YG, in this case the choreography for 2 of the most popular songs..Even iKON's But You has a very easy choreography that anybody can have groove to..Of course YG idols for eg. Taeyang, Lisa, Hoony, Dk, Jihnwan can execute complex choreography if they wanted to but they choose to focus on entertaining & connecting with the public without performing like they are in a dance competition..tht is why i Love love watching their live performances..

I would say I personally like SM's dance style the best, Kasper-nim is just a top-tire choreographer. But as an individual dancer, J-Hope all the way takes the crown for me.
Agree, Jhope is simply on a level of his own! Its amazing to watch his level of technicality, basic fundementals and body control. Not to mention his natural swag is off the charts.

I applaud YG for going the freestyle route since free-styling is actually harder than synchronized dancing because the moves are improvised and aren't 'prepared' beforehand. But I do sometimes find their choreography as a whole to be a bit messy since everyone is doing their own thing and I'm not particularly sure who I'm supposed to watch at the time. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a center. Although their laid-back dancing is easy to follow along with and doesn't tire out the idols, I do wish to see more intense dancing from them. Since they have banger songs, the laid-back dancing kind of makes it have an anticlimactic effect. Just like stated in the video, their dancing is meant for concerts and parties.
Yup, BTS / Bighit has the hardest and most difficult choreo of all. That's why BTS is unmatched. Nobody can reach their tension levels. There is this crazy energy. That's why their concerts are always incredibly fun and they sell out stadiums. It's an overload of energy from start to finish AND they always sing live on top of it. They're just freaking good dancers and their choreos are the best by far.
Honestly, l will go with YG, they gat the moves, swag and stage presence. Instead of dancing too much, they go with the rhythm. They know how to entertain. They are talented. I love them.
