I feel like QOTSA track selections to date haven’t been the best.

Mikey shoes is a killer bassist
The chorus was a throwback sound to me as well. It reminded me of Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Definitely that 60s/70s harmony.
Tangled up in plaid is a good listen. It’s one of the most underrated songs by them. Burn The Witch also is probably their tightest song.
Lullabies is an underrated album. My favorite lineup of theirs I've seen live
Great song, fantastic reaction/review and the cat nodding its head meme was hilarious and the cherry on top for me
I love this song even though I feel lukewarm towards this band, the chorus catches me so much.
Could be wrong, If I remember correctly I believe you play bass? The bassline to this song is really fun to play, I think you would enjoy learning it. In general, Queens has a lot of interesting bass work throughout their discography.
If you ever get the chance to see them live, definitely take it. Saw them in December, and they put on a hell of an entertaining show.

What is your favorite song from them David. I know you don’t like it but mine is misfit love.
I cannot sit still when “Misfit Love” comes on. It’s my number one. I understand why people recommend the performance on the Henry Rollins show because the band is grooving as much as we are, but Josh’s falsetto is not locked in on it.
For me it's Tangled Up in Plaid, I Appear Missing, or Straight Jacket Fitting
