I watch a few golf channels, but they are always intimidating, since they all drive the ball with a 275yd carry, and are pushing all these new clubs that are way above my budget. It also always seems rehearsed! Listening to you guys makes it feel like I'm there with you! Open, honest and fun conversations! As a Canadian, at least where I am, I don't have as many community sales and Thrift shops to find clubs in my budget. My parents however head down to Florida 6 months out of the year (not this past year unfortunately), but after looking it up, they are directly west of you guys on the other coast. Fun fact though, my grandmother had a condo near you guys out in Ormond Beach that I remember visiting now and then. Hopefully, once travel is opened up, and I can save some money up, I'm hoping to head down and visit my parents when they go, who knows, maybe I;ll rent a car and drive accross to your area. For your curiosities sake, they bought in Largo, FL about 3 years ago. Every time I watch your videos though, I get jealous of all the stuff you can find and look for. It does actually look like fun... this coming from someone who hates shopping! All that to say, keep up the videos, I really enjoy watching you guys! On another note, just picked up a full set of Adams Golf A4OS hybrids (3,4,5) and irons (6-PW) for $175. Older clubs, but were hardly used. The guy threw in a TM R580XD, SW, a 60 deg wedge and a "Chipper". For the price (compared to our market here), I'm VERY happy! Can finally retire my $50 knock-off no name irons!
Life is good when a stacked golf video hits my notifications 😊. Another epic video Ashley and Jon can't wait to see what flea market bargains you get in the next visit. Always worth checking them out when it conjures up some great deals 👍
Hey guys 🤩 Love your vids💕 Jon is a walking golf club encyclopedia which is so cool, and Ashley is definitely the world’s greatest putter and it’s so adorable how she turns to face her target and starts stepping backward after she hits her shots love it💕 thanks for the fun!
This is my first video I've watched of yours and the way you two interact with each other makes me so envious to have a relationship like that some day...
Yeah Coz everyone talks like that.🙄. It's faked up excitement to sound good. Now imagine the camera wasn't there and then listen. Half their chat is not to eachother....
@@Plasteringprojects This comment comes at a poor time as I was looking for a new wood and resin design everything and I know where I won't be shopping!
I was at a Play It Again Sports store in Pleasant Hill Calif and I saw a full set of Ping irons. They went from one iron to sand wedge, so I couldn't resist. Now my Power Built TPS set from S through 2 are sitting in my garage. I love the Pings along with a Ping putter I scored at Goodwill in Brookings Oregon for $10 !
I have the same Hogan demo bag. It sat in the pro shop of a course one mile from my house. They were going to trash it but I happened to be there that day so they gave it to me about 10 years ago. I’m hoping to fill it with a classic old set of hogan irons someday but for now it looks pretty cool with some old fancy face woods in it. Great find.
Nice bird! Did you do a recent video of old school Hogan blades. They are like butter. Time to play with some older gear to prove to the younger generation that you can play with any clubs. If you find a Taylor Made Tour Preferred Spoon. Or maybe a. Persimmon.McGregor. 4 or 5 wood. Found a beautiful Watson 4 wood last year. The craftsmanship is A+ The size of an actual spoon. Keep it going. Happy to see your channel grow. If you can do me a favor if you remember. Show the club face up close. Your putting stroke looks much better. Both of your games have improved which is good to watch. Take care!!!
I have the exact same Hogan Demo Clubs bag.I was having lunch in my car at the local par 3 course and watched the owner carry it to the dumpster and toss it.I immediately snagged it.A little wipe down and its like new!👍😎
I love your approach- “How much for the golf club?” Those few seconds before they give you the price are great. Some vendors know their stuff and others less so. Great vid guys 😀 I forgot to ask...What’s your handicap Jon? Great swing.
I have one of those Callaway Hickory Stick wedges....I think mine is a 56° sand wedge...at least that's what I have used it for on the course. The Hogan golf bag is something I have never seen...and we sold Hogan irons and woods! I wonder how old it is? I can't believe she sold it to you for $10! That's a keeper for sure!
firstly, INFINITE PROPS for the Buckey’s hat!!!! just an observation - you guys are absolutely drawn to anything that is Red, White, and Blue! and that’s not a knock - it’s cool! so cool!
Great video, have you guys ever done a course vlog using your own clubs? I think that would be a cool video, unless I already missed it! Haha! Cheers from Alberta Canada!
When I used to loop, back in the 90's, that Ping bag was called a "Stand bag" One guy got one, and it was a GREAT bag to shag. Soon, his whole 4-some had the same bag, and it became popular with a LOT of golfers.
That Burk putter you got , Arnold palmer and some others back in the 60's, shell wonderful world of Golf. You will see some of them use those. Burk was a well known good putter back in his time. You might see Ben Hogan use one of those style putters too.
How did you like hitting that Calloway Hickory Stick? I've owned one for 30 years. There are different degrees that they make with that club. Mine if you swing and hit the ball perfect it jumps about 30 ft high and about 40 yards distance. But hitting that club is so hard. There is no forgiving for the slightest mistake. The head is such a huge piece of iron and weighs so much and is so thick at the bottom of the face, you end up not getting under the ball and especially if the ground is on the harder side with short cut grass. You will shoot that ball right across the green and it will really destroy your short game unless you practice with it all the time. It isn't a club to carry around every round you play. It's a really specialized club. Once you know how to use it and when to use it, it will get you out of trouble really well. Good Luck with it
I have a MacGregor parwin 10 iron that looks like the flat wedge you had same with my set of Sam Sneads... I paused the video to see if the irons were the Sneads as The Wilson Swing weights 1 wood beside the Hogan Bag were the Woods that came with it 1,2,3,4...don't see a 2 woods very often anymore. I still have the 10. They were called a Texas Wedge up here in British Columbia, Canada. You should get one for the world's greatest putter as I still putt with it occasionally. I also still play a Nickent hybrid and 3 wood. The 4DX rather than the 3DX
I have a bunch of Ping demo irons - they are engraved on the toes with the lies, shaft flex, and then an inventory #. Would love to find a Ping demo bag like that Hogan. COOL FIND !!!
Whenever I get a bag as dirty as the Ping bag , I take it right to the car wash , (hand wand) , and blow it clean ... a real time saver and it works great .
Years ago I stumbled on a club that me and my buddy couldn't decide if it was an old putter or driving iron. One trip to the driving range and a couple of shots with it we quickly decided it was a putter.
I can't believe what great finds you guys make but I'm so shocked that you found a ping mantis bag at a Goodwill I'm so jealous that is one of the greatest bags that ping made in the early 2000s
Enjoyed your video very much. Here in England we have 'Car Boor Sales' that mirror your Flea Markets. Over the years I have picked up some fantastic clubs for pennies!!! Jon you need to get a ring on that girls finger as she is the real deal... Stay safe and good luck with the bargain hunting!!!

I know nothing about golf but I find your bargain-hunting fun to see that you get a good deal. I guess golf clubs are like that similar to buying a treadmill online. It seems like they are bought with the best of intentions and people spend a lot of money on them and then hardly use them and then in the end eventually sell them. So to buy the treadmill online is a great deal because you're going to get something that's probably hardly used in someone spent a lot of money on it and if you decide you don't like it well you didn't spend a lot of money on it
I had a Nickent 3DX hybrid when they first came out. I probably have gone thru a dozen hybrids since then, just bought a used Nickent 3DX from ebay and hit it better than anything else I've tried, give it a chance, well balanced club.
I'm in Arizona I dont think we have buckies but I bought a ping golf bag on offer up and it had a buckies hand puppet in the pocket I use it as a putter cover never knew what it was from until you guys did that grand opening episode
