I was wetting myself watching Steve seed the bottom paddock, Hilarious, YES PLEASE, Rhubarb preserves, storing, we love it, and I have not got many ways to store it lol I also, would love to see how you preserve and store up your garden produce please. Love to you all x Ps, I hope your Daughters job is with animals, She is a natural x
😂 great ending, looked like he was doing a bit of dressage! I’d love to see any dehydration videos, with herbs and any consumables please 🙏 Also how you like to use dehydrated produce. Such a great skill to have! Thank you for today’s video. So much work goes into these and I hope some fun too!
Absolutely brilliant video. I was laughing with you when the seeds were being sown. I never thought of dehydrating the rhubarb, so I'll be giving that a go. Thanks for cheering us up and for the inspiration ❤
Oh my, the seed sowing was so funny. Let's hope it works. Great video as always from you two. The place is really coming together. Your hard work is sure paying off. 💜
Loved today’s video, yes please more preserving and canning videos. I just started canning myself after buying the Instant Pot Max Pro (the one with the canning function) so more videos with this would be much appreciated
Ha the seeding part was great. Totally reminded me of trying to fertilize my Dads lawn for him. Every year I make the nicest checkerboard pattern he complains about all the rest of the year. Truthfully I’m hoping he gives up thinking he needs it 😂. Things are coming along so well and so many new beds for planting 🥰. Nice that most of the trees took to the transplanting too. Be well ! 🥂
😂😂😂😂 oh my goodness I was crying watching the grass seed sowing 🤣 please can you put an ‘empty bladder and tissues required’ warning if he gets that seed sower out again. 😂
😂😂 tell us how you really feel Steven. Feed me all the time and you can get a stroke and a tickle 😅😅. I think Steven needs a shirt that says lots to do not much time 🤭, you both work so very hard and it totally shows. The “fruit orchard” looks fantastic and so good as a sitting area to sachet through 🤣🤣. Will you move the tree behind the shed or move the shed and leave the tree? Running fart jokes 💨💨💨. Is that a raspberry coming up among the rhubarb? Apple and rhubarb sounds delicious 😋. All going well and thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations but also the triumphs 💪💪. Have a marvellous week hope it’s warm, Ali 🥶🌧️🌤️🇨🇦
Hahaha that grass should be amazing lol 😂 I still want a dehydrator think I’ll treat myself and get one for this year there’s always loads of rhubarb that goes to waste!
Never thought of dehydrating rhubarb. Might give it a go in the bottom oven of my Rayburn as it doesn’t get to hot in there. OMG that was hysterical watching Steven run around with the seeder. Your garden is far ahead of mine. I’m struggling to get seeds to germinate here.
😂😂😂😂 love Steven running around at the end 😂❤. I have a ton of rhubarb here, only just finished what we had from last year. Any recipes you do would be amazing, I think I’m going to try and make some cakes and puddings with it this year and then freeze them so when we have visitors I can just defrost a finished dish as I’ve spent the last few weeks playing ‘what on earth can I make with this?’.
Steven may have invented a new Olympic sport 😂 When you dehydrate the wild garlic do you do the leaves whole then grind into a powder? Hoping to be able to get out this afternoon for some foraging if the rain ever bloody stops. And definitely up for more rhubarb suggestions.
Fantastic video! We were wetting ourselves laughing at the end. Loving seeing how you’re using up the rhubarb as with just one plant we have an abundance. Have you tried making rhubarb extract as a replacement for lemon juice? I first saw it in one of Carl’s videos and make it every year now - it is fab for salad dressings and as a replacement for lots of things that call for a dash of lemon. Can also use the pulp left over from making it as a rhubarb compote so no wastage. Loving your ideas for dehydrating and would love to see more. A good dehydrator is on my (ever growing!) list of things for when we move. This weekend was the first set of viewings of properties - starting to get very real and exciting!
@@OurSmallholdingAdventure Carl had the channel Self sufficient hub. He doesn’t post any more but there’s some great videos on there. Viewings were good, thanks. Saw three that were not right for us but one definite maybe. Just need to get our house sold now! Open day Monday. Send us good vibes! 🥰😊
Is Steven a robot are is he the Duracell bunny , that man never stops. You've got a good catch there Tracy you need to grow another one as a spare 😂 .
You’re spot on there Mick

Thank you Sean 😂 and we grind them, sometimes add salt so it’s a seasoned salt instead.
Love to see your rhubarb recipes xx
Thank you, will be more!
