    This is one of the biggest trucks that we have had the pleasure of fitting out atThe Bush Company workshop. The Ford F350 from factory is already a beast, but this one has been tuned up to have 650Hp and 1900Nm of torque, coupled with a GVM upgrade, Kings Racing suspension, airbags and 37" tyres, we are sure that there is nothing this rig can't handle.
    AVME 4x4 have done a great job with a custom bullbar housing Ultravision driving lights and light bar along with a WARN winch, but the real AVME magic is in the rear canopy which provides a fully equiped kitchen on the passenger side and massive storage on the driver's side. The electrics are looked after by a REDARC RedVision system hooked up to two 200Ah lithium batteries that are fed by 430W of solar panels on the roof of the TX27 MAX rooftop tent.
    The TX27 MAX rooftop tent has been fitted facing forwards with the ladder mount attached to the rack on the cab providing a 'balcony' platform at the front of the tent. There are two freestanding awnings mounted to the tent, a 180 XT MAX on the driver’s side and a 270 XT MAX on the passenger side providing a massive amount of shade.

    Its a beautiful beast, probably looking at 500k right there. But, problem they all have, it now makes the entire kitchen and benches way too high. Canopy fabricators need to start accommodating for this common problem.

      That’s why he’d have the air bags I reckon..most drop to get the height down

    500 liters and only 500kms. No way. They actually do well on fuel..

    These American utes are impracticable with a tray canopy. To tall for anyone shorter than 6'2"

      There is certainly a point at which they do get too high, the owner of this rig is a tall bloke though.

    I’d hate to set up the tent with stuff tied down on the roof rack. Long way to fall too.

      Most people that have the tents reversed intend for the roof rack to stay pretty empty so they can use it as a landing of sorts.

    How do you get into the tent with the awnings deployed?

    • @TheBushCompany
      @TheBushCompany  Год назад

      You would need to drop the 180 awning to be able to get onto the roof rack/ front landing. This only takes 30s, particularly if you are not packing it all away.
