Thank you so much, sir, for explaining this thoroughly and in proper detail. I'm truly grateful for your clear and concise teaching. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻
I was just wondering that how does rheostat avoid short circuiting of wires like we are not able to see any large visible difference between the coils of the wire
@@MakeMeScientific no, not really sir... I am assuming that the wires are not coated by any insulated material because finally we have to also connect the needle of the moving Jockey directly to the wire, so concluding from this we get that why the current is even moving in the turns rather than just taking the shortcut path of just going from the top of each turn directly
and this thing, the contact, the sliding contact, has a very small contact point, and the top of these wires are stripped away so it can contact? very neat device
Bt if we use the alternate terminals then you said that the current is not passed through second terminal bt how can the current flow from the first terminal to third terminal without in between the source as if it passes through jockey then we will get an electric shock
In one of your video i.e., ( Resistance in parallel video) you said that when current passes through the resistors current doesn't decreases in fact it's energy decreases . And again in this video you explained current decreases. So , sir please clear my doubt. Plzzzz
Yes in resistances in parallel the resistances used were fixed so the current coming out of battery was constant here resistance is varying so current also changes
Sir I have an another doubt! In my textbook they wrote that " the wire between the 2 terminals A and B provides a fixed resistance equal to the resistance of the entire length of wire ". Can u explain me this statement sir.
Thanks for watching the video. Resistance is directly proportional to the length of the wire. If you are using the complete length of the wire then you have attained maximum fixed resistance.
Can we please appreciate this guy for making our text books practical and understanding
Thanks for appreciation 🙏
Yes😘
Very right
Yes
You explained it better than my new school.
wow!! amazingly explained... 😊
Thanks a lot 😊
Sir I'm 10th standard and I'm able to understand class 12 knowledge...all this credit goes to u.
Wow good 👍👍👍
Why u r learning it in 10th?
@@akanshakukreti2570 I'm learning it in 9th 🙃
@@kavyavlogs-29 why though? U r in icse i guess

Sir during fixed resistance where I have to place the jockey on the asbestos pipe????
Yes same question
When load is connected between A and C, the jockey's position has no effect on the resistance.

Sir totally understood.. thank you
Sir but if we use the bottom two terminals , still that jocky is in contact with the coiled wire?
Then in that case there is no output from the jokey
@@MakeMeScientific ok sir thank you
Best explanation ever
Thanks sir ❤❤

Can anyone tell me how the current flows from the coil to the sliding contact ? Are they connected together by a wire or through mutual inductance?
Connected by wire
