We adopted our rescue dog from Romania where she'd been living rough on the streets for 4 years with no home of her own. A lovely charity "Bid to save a Stray" took her in and she came to live with my husband and I in England after we lost our darling wonderful rescue dog called Brandy after she had
a stroke.
I named our Romanian dog Angel and I feel this song was written for how I feel about her. She'd had a hard life, had lost and ground down many of her front teeth and had bald patches all over when she came to live with us but now is thriving and has a beautiful thick coat and spends her time on the beach and country park - both are right next to our home and has been the most happy, wonderful and friendly chilled out dog and every day I am so grateful to the charity that saved her - and the hundreds of dogs they currently are trying to find homes for. She's been with us over 2 years now - We are so lucky to have her in our lives - we love you, our Angel 😇 xxxx

I don't know if it's common knowledge or not, but I just found it kinda funny how so many people say they're going to use this song as their wedding song. Ruelle wrote and performed this song at her wedding for her husband, literally making it a great song for the occasion. lol
But what you didn’t know is that she REFUSED to allow them to release this song for a full year. She wanted this song to be ONLY for her and Jess. But it was Jess who convinced her to sign off on it. She’s still NOT thrilled about it, but appreciates that people who LOVE it immensely.
Ruelle has stolen my heart the minute I heard 'Monsters' on the Pilot of Shadowhunters. I then Shazamed every song I spotted on Shadowhunters and felt madly in love with her captivating voice. Then, I watched 7x18 of The Vampire Diaries and my heart warmed with happiness. Her music is truly beautiful. I just wish she gets more views because she truly deserves it.

I know that this is a 'wedding' song, but all I feel is the love I have for my babies. Five amazing lives that I got the opportunity to grow inside my body and 3 of which I had the blessing of raising and being their momma (twin middle pregnancy was a surrogacy, full term, living beautifully with their fathers in another country). This song may feel like admitting to the love of your life how truly you care for them, and it's the same for me, but the loves of my life happen to be the children that I was lucky enough to bring into this world 💜💜💜💙💜
