    I'm loving your clarity in teaching what was for me an "unreachable star" that is to hear Talmud/Mishna/Gemora in a way that the lesson consciously can rest in my mind. As you mention the idea of interpretation of halacha using philosophy or axiomatic means, I'm reminded of my single favorite line from Shakespeare "There are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy" Hamlet says to his 'chevrusa':) Horatio.

    The 3 halachot/laws - what is the specific reference in Torah (i.e. 5 Books of Moshe) for each of the halachot?
