I bought a silver one last Saturday, this has been one of my dreamcars for very long. I love it.

208.000 on the clock, i want to detail it first, get it all cleaned inside and out. And make sure it's reliable first, then I'll start thinking about making power and beefing things up.

I have my 👀 on a 706 bhp red 6 with a custom bodykit and reenforced to the max ... the parts list is longer than my grocery shopping bill for 1 month!
- Speedperformance camshaft Stage3, pistons 10.6:1, H11 12mm head screws
- Manley Turbo Tuff I-Beam Connecting Rod
- Bearing shells connecting rod and main bearing
- Gasket set DISI engine complete
- Head gasket Mazda MPS
- Ferrea +1 inlet and exhaust valves
- Supertech valve springs 83Ib
- Supertech valve stem seals
- Oil cooler kit KKS Performance
- Adjust intercooler net to double size including
- Head machining inlet and outlet widened and polished
- Engine builders plan, hone and adjust stud bolts
- Clutchmaster Twindisc clutch with flywheel
- Adjust and build downpipe
- Tighten the crankshaft
- Cup tappet set DISI
- Engine installation and removal, disassembly and cleaning
- Installation work differential, control unit, injectors, air collector
- Display oil temp, exhaust gas temp, boost pressure, adapter, installation
- Turboupgrade GT3794
- Calibration of engine software
- Bosch pressure sensor 4bar
- Liqui Moly 10W60
- Liqui Moly engine oil 10W60 1L
- Break-in oil 20w40
The tune was completed in 2019. Since then he only drove 1k km.
He wants 22.9k (price dropped from 24.9k).
I am not 100% sure if I should do it.
It's a hefty price ... but I get a lot for the money.
Often people are complaining about reliability issues of the engine (eating oil, piston failures and even cracked engine blocks).
Did the tune solve all those problems and make the whole build bullet proof?
Yeah its sounds like a bargain to be honest 😎👍 i think the mazda 6 mps is so underrated as well.
@@TheSwedishCarGuy Wow! I did not think that I was getting a response from you (so fast).
I never had Mazda on my radar and I am a bit hesitant tbh.
But there is nothing compared to that (maybe Subaru STI and Toyota Yaris) but not for that money.
I will get him down to 21.5-22k for sure and pay a mechanic to go thru my check list to confirm the condition of the car, add a short shifter, carbon hood, put the battery in the back, delete the eye lids, maybe replace the custom front to a stock one and wrap that thing.
You wrote that it's a bargain.
What would be a reasonable price for that car in your opinion?
I guess he can't sell the car because no one has it on the radar.
Subaru, zhe germans, Yaris, Evos ... everyone knows them.
I guess it's because Mazda (for whatever reason) killed the 6 so fast.
Did you ever consider the 3? I could get the 3 with 400 bhp ... it's now sold. And to be honest... that might be a death trap. The torque steer is crazy. Even though I like the cute smile which makes it to the PERFECT sleeper (more than the 6 tbh).

What oil change interval do you recommend (with this tune)?
I read something like 3k in stock form.
I wonder if I can daily that beast without refueling the tank everyday.
But maybe the seller already made a eco tune.
I don't need 700 bhp all the time 😁

That's why you put a dif brace in it , mine has zero issues and is 720whp but a ton of work put into it
