So suddenly the Tories decide to be competent, and want to report any backhanders or dodgy dealings by politicians in power? 🤦‍♂️

Crazy, it seems me asking for a government to care at the local level and wanting more bin collections is now an offence on RUclips. I've had enough of the A.I algorithm on this site.

Who was scrutinizing the Tories after all thr cuts to the Councils' and Public Services budgets? Certainty not the Tory media.

There has a huge amount of scrutinising of the last Tory Government. Did you ever watch any output of the BBC, Channel Four, Sky News, or read The Guardian, The Independent or The Mirror? People know the slant of the press and will read what fits with their political views.

@@xanderjay3215like how despite billions in dodgy PPE contracts only Michelle Mone got offered up as a scapegoat in the press. Yeah. We saw.

Starmer to be ‘closely scrutinised’, with a hostile press how can it be otherwise, it's like saying the sun rises and sets, with that comes day and night.

No building on Green belt land, we need it for drainage & stopping urban sprawl which is destroying Essex at this time as now "East" London now includes all of essex up to the M25 and is creeping beyond with tthe resultant loss of countryside, farms, small holdings, villages & hamlets. England is in danger of becoming one large Mega-City.
The Housing crisis can be solve in a great part by stopping foreign investors buying up properties and only using them for a couple of weeks a year, also stopping people from buying 2nd & 3rd holiday homes and of course strictly limiting immigration. You know, just like other NORMAL countries do.

I hate how Times Radio play the key lines from the video at the beginning only to repeat them later, it’s only a 10 min video why waste our time with repetition.

why should a king, who apparently has to be above politics and not get involved and can’t vote, be able to do this opening of Parliament ceremony? Why should our elected PM have to go to Buckingham Palace when the king should have nothing to do with our politics?

Because the parliament runs the country on the Kings behalf.

@@rollthetape88 and why should the parliament run on the king’s behalf, who does not vote (as far as we know since they don’t have to adhere to FOI requests)? The people elected, not the king. He’s not seriously going to say “no government for you” if the newly elected just say “nah we’re just going to go on with the parliamenting”. There’s literally no point in having this procedure.

@@chrispennington9652 what does that have to do with anything? Having a king in this day and age is pointless and the fact that the monarchy are an unaccountable institution who have influence over our laws and are granted exceptions to some laws should make us wonder why we still have them. English history does nothing to change that. Keep licking the king’s boot though. He only sees you as a subject and that’s all. These people literally believe they’re better than you because of how they were born.
