I think a control ring to control the color would have been better. Would prevent you from accidently turning on the wrong color of light and scaring away the predator. You can check the ring before you turn it on that way. A moonlight and a seperate turbo not in the regular mix. But otherwise seems like a very promising light.

I'd think you want to scare away the predator. Not scare away the prey. C'mon man.

That sounds like an interesting idea, however we find the operating system quite intuitive as-is. And with its intelligent memory circuit, you could set it to a specific color before going out into the field. Also this flashlight is a long thrower, so moonlight even at 1 lumen would be pretty intense. That is why it doesn't include that mode.

@@roncruise4 The flashlight is meant to locate, not scare away animals.

I like that there is no strobe in the normal use, strobe is only effective for a SWAT-Man in the first second, you cannot stop somebody for minutes just by strobe him, but thanks to the ads a lot of people think so... So I like flashlights without strobe-mode.

We're glad you like this light. Some people do like having strobe "just in case", however you are correct that most will never need it.

This flashlight has a very tight, long throwing beam, and not intended to be something you read with, so therefore, it does not come with a moonlight mode. We do offer moonlight mode on other models. I will ask the factory why we have not gone to a "instant turbo" on our lights yet. Thank you for your feedback.

Because this is a light that doesn't need features you mentioned. Main purpose of this light is hunting. Features such as moonlight or double press for turbo aren't important as this light isn't tactical. Imagine if all lights have the exact same features, wouldn't that be boring then? 🙄

this is what you get when you are all about features and not about benefits. it’s a hunting light application.

The fact that it doesn't have moonlight mode to use inside of a blind or in a treestand before dawn is the only reason I haven't ordered one. I could definitely do without the strobe (talk about marketing department induced senseless feature) @@liberty0758

i have several of these and your comment is unfounded. screw the flashlight ends tight and the battery won’t come loose. operator error.

This flashlight comes with dual springs which creates a much better battery contact even under shock. As long as the tail cap is secured tightly, you should never have an issue.
