I have this helmet, the intercom speakers fit in fine no comfort issues beyond that of a "compatible" helmet. The issue is more to do with routing the wires than fitting the speakers.
This is why Revzilla is the best. Anthony will call out manufacturers for products or features that could be designed better. The Corsa / Pista faceshield needs some kind of detent or friction system so riders can allow more air into the helmet.
I have a Corsa and have had nothing but problems with the face shield. The approach of screwing the hing and latch fittings to the shield plastic does. not. work. The helmet eats face shields and I've had to buy something like 5 new shields at around $80 apiece. Looks like this helmet uses the same approach on the shield. I would not get this helmet even if it was given to me fro free.
Hello Revzilla, I have a few questions that really confusing me Which one is better for a street rides ? And I mean by that riding in the city daily AGV K6 Helmet OR the Crosa R ? I ride naked bike (Suzuki GSXS 750) I do care about the safety in the first place for sure Could you please recommend that for me.
idk if im gonna get a reply but quick question about sizing. i have a medium in a fly racing revolt fs its a bit loose do you think a small corsa r would fit me? im 21.5".
Hey Revzilla, I have a few questions: I tried RF1200 and size 2XL is just right for me. Considering that, I would assume 2XL would be good for me if I decide to get Corsa R? (I mean… they don’t get bigger than that haha!) I’m a big dude, so a big head was inevitable haha. The reason I’m asking is because local dealer doesn’t have size 2XL in stock and they won’t have it in the near future, so I’m comparing it to Shoei (that’s 63-64cm head circumference, I’m assuming it would be okay with AGV too since it’s the largest size). One more question though: Since there are no cutouts for BT speakers, is it possible at all to mount a comm system such as Packtalk Slim? That will probably be a deciding factor for me. Thanks in advance and best regards from Belgrade, Serbia ! 🇷🇸
AGV's do notoriously fit slightly smaller and longer oval than the RF-1200, so while the size might be good (after it breaks in) you would likely experience pressure points that won't break in with regular use/time. The only way to know is to really order one and try it on for 15-20 minutes (don't ride in it) and then decide if you want to return it or if the fit is to your liking. Unfortunately since all heads are different shapes and sizes, you would really need to try it on to see if it is comfortable in your eyes. Also - you could still add a BT system (the Packtalk Slim would be one of the more difficult ones to add given that it is helmet-specific) even though there are no speaker cutouts, but the speakers have to go somewhere so that will be less room inside the helmet near your ears. Its all a bit of give and take though for what sounds like a unique look your going for.
There isn’t a shop in MN that carry AGV. Does the Corsa R fit similar to Arai Corsair X? The only helmet that seems to fit me best are Arai but I love the look of this Corsa R.
The fit is very similar but not exactly the same. I find the AGV has a little more room behind the ears and just a little less space at the temples. Personally, I can wear both comfortably...though the Arai fits a bit better. -DrewZilla
I noticed you said there are no cut outs for speakers. I have a Sena 20s, does this mean I will not be able to install it into this helmet, or it is just not going to be as comfortable? I'm looking for an aggressive looking helmet that will be used 99% of the time on the road, do you have any suggestions? I do like the AGV style, but open to others. I'm not personally a fan of the round looking (think Arai) helmets. Thanks
The cheek pads leave no room for speakers. Instead, consider the GT Veloce or K5, which do have room for speakers. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/agv-gt-veloce-helmet *www.revzilla.com/agv-k5s-helmets
Wait, Do you recommend this or the Shoei X14 for road use/track use mixed. I prefer the look of this but they both fit my head when trying them on. The HJC RPHA11 doesn't fit, my head worked with the RPHA10carbon lorenzo though. The Arai Corsair X also didn't work with my head at first try, neither did the Bell race star. So I'd assume no helmet would work for me with exception to the X14 or the Corsa (R)/Pista. What'd you recommend? 5050 track road split.
@RevZilla Are the changes worth the premium over the previous generation? Would I notice it on the track and fast roads? I'm trying to replace my RX-7GP
I can't make that decision for you, but I'll say the changes aren't massive. I also like a good deal though, so maybe I'm biased towards saving money. -DrewZilla
Can i use this inside liners in my old corsa? That would be amazing. I was hoping for nofog visor since i dont like the pinlock system but i guess thats not happening with the agv helmets
Got a question DREW. I know with other brands and with my current matte black helmet the matte finish u can peel off and remove the logos, can you do the same with AGV? I know with the gloss finishes the logo are under the clear and unable to be removed. But with matte finishes u can usually feel the edge and peel it back. Can you please let me know, i really hate the big italian colors on the forehead but I want this helmet so badly. Please let me know thanks!!
Is this any different from the agv k3?? Because I bought a k3 and had to return it because once I got in the race position I could see the top of the visor/helmet.
If you are referring to the viewport on the helmet, this one will be much better than the K3. The K3 is a street helmet with track looks but isn't really designed to be used in the full tuck riding position. The Corsa R is based on the Pista GP R that every AGV pro racer is wearing and will have a much better viewport in the full tuck. Keep in mind, you would still need to get the size right for that to be the case as a loose helmet will slip down over your eyes. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or cs@revzilla.com. Ride safe, -Pat
They have very similar sizing, so if you are/were a size small in the GP Tech, I'd recommend size small for the Corsa R. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-corsa-r-helmet
DrewZilla! Are the Corsa R and Pista GP R have the same shell structure/sizes. I know the Pista GP R are carbon fiber; I just want to know if they are shaped similar way because I have worn the Pista GP R and know which size fits me so I just need to know if both are identical when it comes to fit. I like the compact look on the Pista GP R, is it the same with the Corsa R? Pista GP R shell sizes: XS and Small MS ML and L XL and XXL Those shell sizes the same as Corsa R? Thanks in advance!
Yes, the Corsa R has the same exact shell shapes and sizes as the Pista GP R. The only differences are that the Pista GP R has a longer rear spoiler, removable vent covers instead of sliding vent covers, and the full carbon shell instead of the carbon/aramid/fiberglass shell. So if you want the same compact size but don't want to spend on the Pista GP R, definitely go with the Corsa R. -DrewZilla
Hi revzilla, I'm currently using a shark evoline series 3 and hoping to purchase the agv corsa V46, my question is my current shark is size M (medium) what size will suit in the agv ? And are they good helmets for wind noise Do they have drop down visors like shark or require a tinted screen ? Tia
If you are size medium (M) in the Shark, you are either size MS or ML in the Corsa. We recommend you take your head circumference measurement with a cloth measuring tape and compare it to the size chart on the page linked below. This is a sport/race helmet, so ventilation and aerodynamics are the focus. Therefore, wind noise is average. Of course, we always recommend wearing ear plugs anyway, as even the quietest helmet can allow long term hearing damage. As this is a sport/race helmet, it does not have an internal sun visor. You would need a tinted screen for bright conditions. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-corsa-r-v46-helmet *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-pista-gp-r-corsa-r-face-shield
I'm looking for a race helmet suitable for 200mph. Very serious racing, and I realize that it comes with a serious price. Will this work well for high speed (aerodynamics/stability are my main concern) or should I just move past this and on to the pista?
Yes, the Corsa R will work well for high speed racing, though the Pista GP R does provide even better high speed stability. Both are great options. It really just depends how much you want to spend. -DrewZilla
Not at release, but they should have thicker shields available at a later date. The old shields will still fit though. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-corsa-pista-gp-gt-veloce-face-shield
I have been told by my local dealer that the old shields do not work? Something about the 2mm thickness difference of the new and the release on it dont jive?
would you recommend this helmet for everyday riding? i dont do alot of track days... mostly city & county roads and a bit of highways. i’m on a ducati monster.
I wear a Medium in the shoei 1200 what size should i got for this? Does the spoiler interfere when doing head checks when street riding? Im going back and forth between this helmet and the K6?
If your MD Shoei is a bit loose, the MS AGV would be best. If the MD Shoei is a bit tight, get the ML size. And no, the spoiler doesn't interfere with lane checks unless you have your chin on the tank while doing it. The K6 is the better helmet for practical everyday street use, the Corsa would be a better option for those considering more track days than street. Hi I’ve just bought the corsa r helmet in ms size and it’s so so tight when putting in on. My head size is 56.5 so it’s supposed to fit. Think I’ll order a bigger size
can the liner of this version switch to the normal version? I'm a little bit curious. If the answer is "Yes", i'll buy a whole new liner for my 2015 Corsa.
Shipping time international really depends more on the customs import time in the receiving country more than anything on our end. We will ship items that can leave the US as quickly as possible and if your country's importation and duties departments are not busy (which most are at the moment given the world crisis ongoing) it should arrive within 2 weeks or so. However, that can be delayed by your government's rules/regulations. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or cs@revzilla.com. Ride safe, Pat
The Corsa R is made in Italy (like the Pista GP R), while the Corsa was made in China alongside most other AGV Helmets. The Corsa R is a bit quieter, has a new liner design with emergency removal cheek pads and better wicking material, and uses a new visor with new closure system. -DrewZilla
Yes, you can mount a Bluetooth communicator to the Corsa R, and it can fit well. However, there aren't recessed speaker pockets, so if you have big ears, they might interfere with the speakers. If you do want a communicator for the Corsa R, I recommend the low-profile Sena 10R. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-10r-low-profile-motorcycle-bluetooth-headset
Oh, you can certainly mount the 20S. It's just physically larger. As you increase speed, the drag becomes more apparent. At street legal speeds, you'll be just fine. -DrewZilla

Me and my friend were talking and the question that got us both when we were talking about motorcycles was " a Harley Davidson iron 883,or sportier, VS Yamaha fz07?" Which one is better in your opinion(s)
Harley Davidson is a great company, and their dealerships are first class. You'll be able to test ride the 883, and it will have you grinning! The Sportster, even being slightly more expensive, might be financed for less. Harley owns their own bank, and puts the customer first. The Yamaha is light weight, a joy to own, and slightly less cash, but could be more expensive if financed. Honestly, there is no direct comparison here, and you're not losing if you select either bike.

I need to get a decent price helmet With a all flat black helmet and tinted screen that doesn't get all fogged up with my breath!!!! can u point my in the right way to go??.......
The best option would be the Shoei RF-1200 in matte black, which comes with a Pinlock anti-fog insert. You would need to get a dark smoke face shield separately though. *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shoei-rf-1200-helmet-solid *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shoei-cwr-1-pinlock-ready-face-shield A more affordable option would be the HJC CL-17 in matte black, though you'd need to get both a dark-smoke Pinlock shield and clear Pinlock anti-fog insert as well. *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/hjc-cl-17-helmet *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/hjc-hj-09-pinlock-ready-face-shield *www.revzilla.com/product/hjc-hj-05-07-09-17-pinlock-lens-insert Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
Really, it just comes down to fit and price. The Corsa is slightly wider behind the ears compared to the Shoei, and the Shoei is more affordable than the AGV if comparing solid colors for example. -DrewZilla
Shoei x14 has speaker cut outs. It's also louder than the Corsa R. The Corsa has a slightly bigger field of view too. I've used both and currently ride with the R.
Shame, I get an obsene amount of wind noise up behind my ears on mine; wonder if they've addressed that at all with this update ☺️ thank you for replying though!
If you mean an internal drop-down sun visor, then no. You would swap the clear face shield for a mirrored or smoke tint face shield. If you want an internal sun visor, then look at the AGV K5S. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/AGV_CorsaR_Face_Shields *bit.ly/AGV_K5S_Helmets
The Pista GP R and Corsa R utilize a different face shield than the first generation, so unfortunately the existing AGVisor system is not compatible at this time. -TeamZilla Chris
It depends on the glasses. This helmet does work with some glasses, but you have to try the helmet with your glasses to see if it's comfortable for you. -DrewZilla
If every helmet you've ever tried on has felt too wide above the ears and has given you forehead pressure, then you'd want a long oval helmet like the Arai Signet-X. However, try to find an AGV, Shoei, or Scorpion helmet to try on locally to see if you have an intermediate oval head shape or whether you have a long oval head shape. -DrewZilla
The Corsa R is the everyday version of the Pista, which really should only be worn on the track. The Corsa R is more streetable, but is still very much a race helmet. It just doesn't use the same carbon fiber, so the price is more reasonable. Think of it like a road-legal version of a Ferrari vs. a track-only version that has slicks.
RevZilla so in safety they’re pretty much the same?also does the corsa r have that kind characteristic of the pista gpr that protects from collarbone injury?
is the regular Corsa quieter than the Corsa R at lower speeds (65mph) ? At high speeds certainly the new improvements are ok but dont know if at low speeds are there any difference

I wouldn't say they are very noisy, instead they're about average. The key to getting a quieter helmet is having a proper snug fit, especially around the ears, jaw, and neck. Loose helmets tend to let in more wind noise. -DrewZilla
It's a good sport helmet, but it's not necessarily intended to be an all-day touring helmet. If it fits you really well, then it will be more comfortable. -DrewZilla

Hi I’ve just bought the corsa r helmet in ms size and it’s so so tight when putting in on. My head size is 56.5 so it’s supposed to fit. Think I’ll order a bigger size
Corsa r is tight, its a race helmet
can the liner of this version switch to the normal version? I'm a little bit curious. If the answer is "Yes", i'll buy a whole new liner for my 2015 Corsa.
The new liners will fit in your current Corsa. -TeamZilla AJ
I've read this runs a bit small, Is that true? I wear small in a rf1200 don't know if I should go small or ms for this corsa r.
Honestly, I would still recommend size small in the Corsa R unless your are right at the top of size small. -DrewZilla

I would love to order this item but how long does it take to import this to the philippines? thanks for the answer.
Hey revzilla, what's the difference between the corsa r and the corsa ?
The Corsa R is made in Italy (like the Pista GP R), while the Corsa was made in China alongside most other AGV Helmets. The Corsa R is a bit quieter, has a new liner design with emergency removal cheek pads and better wicking material, and uses a new visor with new closure system. -DrewZilla
Which one would you pick agv corsa or shoei x-14 @revzilla pls answer back
It really depends which helmet fits your head better, as both are incredibly good helmets for street and track riding. -DrewZilla
my head size is 60, so L size asian fit is very good for me. but after 1 hour ride, my ears start feel pain. is that usual?
It's usual for people with ears shaped similarly to yours. Over time, the pads should hopefully break in more. -DrewZilla
is the new liner backwards compatible with the regular corsa?
Indeed it is. -DrewZilla
Hi RevZilla late question but can you mount a bluetooth device to the AGV Corsa R and does it fit good?
Yes, you can mount a Bluetooth communicator to the Corsa R, and it can fit well. However, there aren't recessed speaker pockets, so if you have big ears, they might interfere with the speakers. If you do want a communicator for the Corsa R, I recommend the low-profile Sena 10R. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-10r-low-profile-motorcycle-bluetooth-headset
Why not the Sena 20s ? And i mainly want to listen to music / call someone here n there
Oh, you can certainly mount the 20S. It's just physically larger. As you increase speed, the drag becomes more apparent. At street legal speeds, you'll be just fine. -DrewZilla
What about the fitment in the ear will it be uncomfortabel?
Hey revzilla what jacket is he wearing? Also this will be my next helmet once I come back from my deployment! 🙌🏽
HVB is wearing the new Dainese Assen, available in both perforated and non-perforated versions. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-assen-perforated-leather-jacket
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-assen-leather-jacket
RevZilla how come the neck looks different from the one HVB is wearing? The jacket from the link you provided doesn't have the tab on the chest.
Can you confirm if you can fit the sena 10c Bluetooth intercom system onto this helmet
Yes, you can fit a Sena 10C. You would insert and mount the speakers inside the cheek pads via a slot on the back side of the cheek pads. -DrewZilla
What about a Scala Q3? lol
@@RevZilla i have recently got my new Corsa R but there is no slot on the back side of the cheek pads. more users encountered this problem. do you know any difference between yearly versions or something?
@@kingn125 Slot? Slot for what?
@@TWIRKNOLOVE for the speakers
Me and my friend were talking and the question that got us both when we were talking about motorcycles was " a Harley Davidson iron 883,or sportier, VS Yamaha fz07?" Which one is better in your opinion(s)
Soul Tijerina they are two different takes on a bike, i dont think you can directly compare them but imo fz
Soul Tijerina watch the Revzilla review of the 883, blowing oil from new. OK for Trumpanzees. One is a good bike, the other is a Hardley.
Soul Tijerina my advice is, ANYTHING but a Harley LOL
bludika really, why is that
corsa R cheek pads are compatible with AGV Corsa Helmets.?
No, Corsa R cheek pads are _not_ compatible with Corsa Helmets. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-corsa-r-cheek-pads
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/agv-pista-gp-corsa-cheek-pads
My corsa r is size XL can I change the inner lining and cheek pads to size L
You cannot use size large cheek pads and liner in size XL, because the two sizes are in two different shell sizes. -DrewZilla
RevZilla noted with thanks
I need to get a decent price helmet With a all flat black helmet and tinted screen that doesn't get all fogged up with my breath!!!! can u point my in the right way to go??.......
The best option would be the Shoei RF-1200 in matte black, which comes with a Pinlock anti-fog insert. You would need to get a dark smoke face shield separately though.
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shoei-cwr-1-pinlock-ready-face-shield
A more affordable option would be the HJC CL-17 in matte black, though you'd need to get both a dark-smoke Pinlock shield and clear Pinlock anti-fog insert as well.

hi what jacket has the bloke got on it looks like slim fit
It's actually a full race suit, the Assen. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-assen-perforated-race-suit
can you guys give me reason to pick agv corsa over shoei x14 and the other way around ?
Really, it just comes down to fit and price. The Corsa is slightly wider behind the ears compared to the Shoei, and the Shoei is more affordable than the AGV if comparing solid colors for example. -DrewZilla
Shoei x14 has speaker cut outs. It's also louder than the Corsa R. The Corsa has a slightly bigger field of view too. I've used both and currently ride with the R.
Would the pista spoiler fit the corsa r helmet ?
Yes, it should fit the Corsa R. -DrewZilla
Just ordered mine, looking forward. Thanks for the cool review.
Can the new neck roll fit the previous Corsa?
No, the new Corsa R cheek pads/liner/neck roll are not compatible with the previous Corsa. -DrewZilla
Shame, I get an obsene amount of wind noise up behind my ears on mine; wonder if they've addressed that at all with this update ☺️ thank you for replying though!
Is there a sun protection (sunglasses)?
If you mean an internal drop-down sun visor, then no. You would swap the clear face shield for a mirrored or smoke tint face shield. If you want an internal sun visor, then look at the AGV K5S. -DrewZilla
*bit.ly/AGV_CorsaR_Face_Shields
*bit.ly/AGV_K5S_Helmets
Hi Anthony, can i use AGVisor for this ?
The Pista GP R and Corsa R utilize a different face shield than the first generation, so unfortunately the existing AGVisor system is not compatible at this time. -TeamZilla Chris
Thanks for your answer :)
Hoping it released soon !
Hii,If You Wear Glasses...Can You Put On Glasses In This Helmet !!
It depends on the glasses. This helmet does work with some glasses, but you have to try the helmet with your glasses to see if it's comfortable for you. -DrewZilla
Hello, what is the different made in italy and made in china? I hope you answer my question :)
The construction method is exactly the same. The only difference is the location of the factory. -DrewZilla
RevZilla So are the Corsa R made in China?
Greet review..as always!
whats a good helmet for a skinny head person?
If every helmet you've ever tried on has felt too wide above the ears and has given you forehead pressure, then you'd want a long oval helmet like the Arai Signet-X. However, try to find an AGV, Shoei, or Scorpion helmet to try on locally to see if you have an intermediate oval head shape or whether you have a long oval head shape. -DrewZilla
Is a corsa r much better than a hjc rpha 11?
It's a bit better in overall quality, but the HJC is just a really really good value, hence the price difference. -DrewZilla
How is the noise compared to the Veloce S?
It's about the same or just slightly louder when the vents are open. -DrewZilla
Thank you very much!
You're welcome! -DrewZilla
so... it is overkill for daily riders?
It's fine for daily riding if you also do a lot of track days. -DrewZilla
As far as helmet *SHAPE* is concerned, what are the *differences* between Pista R and Corsa R? Thanks
The shells are the same shape, but the Pista GP R has a longer spoiler. -DrewZilla
How much more quiet is this helmet compared to the pista
It's about the same, which is to say it's about average for noise. -DrewZilla
Differences with the pista gpr?
The Corsa R is the everyday version of the Pista, which really should only be worn on the track. The Corsa R is more streetable, but is still very much a race helmet. It just doesn't use the same carbon fiber, so the price is more reasonable. Think of it like a road-legal version of a Ferrari vs. a track-only version that has slicks.
RevZilla so in safety they’re pretty much the same?also does the corsa r have that kind characteristic of the pista gpr that protects from collarbone injury?
Yep, in safety they're pretty much the same, and the Corsa R has the same lower shape to help with the collarbone. -DrewZilla
What does a chin skirt do?
It reduces turbulence and wind noise, so the helmet is quieter. -DrewZilla
is the regular Corsa quieter than the Corsa R at lower speeds (65mph) ? At high speeds certainly the new improvements are ok but dont know if at low speeds are there any difference
How big is this helmet?
This is size large (L). -DrewZilla
what jacket is that?
HVB is wearing the new Dainese Assen, available in both perforated and non-perforated versions. -DrewZilla
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-assen-perforated-leather-jacket
*www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-assen-leather-jacket
The helmet is good but when i drive i drive and dont want to hear music
i want to buy a street helmet but my chin touches tge helmet so i only buy adv helmets. what do you recommend
This Corsa actually has a decent amount of room in the chin bar, so you might be ok. -DrewZilla
It also depends on your helmet size and which of the shell sizes you fall into. -DrewZilla
Do you guys know if there's a way to order the new R spoiler?
Currently they are not selling it separately, but they might in the future. -DrewZilla
I hear most agv helmets are very noisy. Is it true?
I wouldn't say they are very noisy, instead they're about average. The key to getting a quieter helmet is having a proper snug fit, especially around the ears, jaw, and neck. Loose helmets tend to let in more wind noise. -DrewZilla
RevZilla ok thanks a lot.
what this helmet size ??
It is size Large (LG). -DrewZilla
Beautiful helmet but for that price it should have Snell approval 😕
Play speed 1.25 = Anthony in 2020
Would this be forgiving for long rides?
It's a good sport helmet, but it's not necessarily intended to be an all-day touring helmet. If it fits you really well, then it will be more comfortable. -DrewZilla
Can we change the version 1 with the new gut ?
Yes, the new liner fits the original Corsa. -DrewZilla
Anthony, please- stop the cocaine, im worried about you
That's a sharp lid... I'm not on the track yet so unfortunately I think i'll have to wait on that one ;\
such a great helmet
I would like this to be my 1st premium helmet...I can’t thank you enough for your reviews..they have really helped me decide between Shoei, Arai, and AGV.. 👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🔥🔥🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍
Did you get it? I love mine. Super comfy and quiet. The only bothersome thing is it's either visor up or down. I use a SENA with earbuds and that works just fine. Speakers suck anyways.
Hey, which one you've picked? ;>
i ride a 2008 cbr 600
This would be an appropriate helmet for your bike. -DrewZilla
Is it still made in China
No, the Corsa R is made in Italy alongside the Pista GP R. -DrewZilla
