Collin (Daddy Papa) would meticulously tamp down the snow, flood the area in sub sub freezing temperatures, and then spend hours after his commute from NYC gently misting the surface until it was truly like glass. Then, the kids in the neighborhood, and later, their parents would come and skate. In the cip we see Helen (Mama, Mother, Nana) skating with Collin's brother Uncle "Jock" (Stanley Meyers), Caroline and her friend Shevaun twirling about. Later the Maceluch clan arrived and some high jinks ensued.
