Thank you so much for watching!
This is not a garden, this is a pARK !
Lmbo, I know right!
OMG! Amazing. It that giant Allium?
Thanks to Almighty God for his wonderful creation and for giving others the ability to make beautiful gardens ,we need a second viewing and keep up the good work,God's richest blessings upon you and your gardeners.
Well said. Thank you for watching.
I like that you talk during the video AND not have background music. I definitely enjoyed watching this video!!
This is one of if not the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen thank you.
@@TheRoseGeek Its absolutely gorgeous.
Best garden I have ever seen . ❤ love UK 🇬🇧
YES! Thank you for watching.
Wow this gives me hope I’m in Maryland 7a and I truly thought roses were out of the question for me with all our humidity and not consistent sun. I’m def gonna put a rose in next spring
Oh, please do! I have in Maryland 8a and have a really high humidity. If you watch the videos I share, you will see which do well for us! Thanks for being a part of Rose Geeks!
Wow so beautiful. My mind was taking it all in
Stunning garden
So beautiful 🪴 🌱 😊
Thank you for sharing the beautiful garden. I wish I could do the same. It's quite an inspiration,,
Wow, I love this garden soooo much ❤ Everything is so tidy. As I am not a native speaker I couldn't understand the name of that beautiful pink climbing rose on the arbour in the back garden. Could you please give me the name? And there was a nice groundcover in the white garden, what was that?
Hi: the bright pink rose on the right is Zephirine Drouhin and on the left is Eden (Pierre de Ronsard). The ground cover in the white garden is Mazus reptans ‘Alba’.
@@rosemama9995 Thank you
This is like a slice of heaven🤗💝🥰💝🫶 Thank you
Kimberly this entire garden is stunning. I mean absolutely, positively stunning. I have so many questions. I hope you can do a tour with her and she explains her planning and design process and also the why behind plant choices. That would help a beginner like myself. Again brava! 😍😍😍
@@TheRoseGeek Dear Kimberley,
Can you please advise what the standardised rounded shrubs are, with little white flowers, behind the Annabel hydrangeas at 7.15 to 7.19? I adore them.
Thank you.
How large is the garden in acres?
Her structure,is what captivates me! Uniformity ,balance, just beautiful.
Thanks to Yvonne for letting us in and much appreciated Kimberley for taking us on a tour. Stunning garden!!!!
Spectacular garden, so peaceful and tranquil. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my this garden is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I love it when you narrate the tour. Please keep doing it. 😀
These gardens are unbelievable. It’s so hard to believe they are private gardens with the size of this property , immaculate
kept plants and specimens. Thank you for sharing and inspiring! 🌸❤️🇨🇦
It’s so close in size, design, layout, and plantings to a garden belonging to the county park where I live
A stunning garden! Thank you for sharing. ❤️
I know we're rose people but that Japanese garden was my favorite! Wow!!!!
Total treat! Thanks YVONNE! ❤ I wonder how one could apply some of these very cool ideas to a much smaller yard. 😮
Wow! Wow! Wow! My finger doesn't want to leave the wow button. Thanks for sharing. Bonny
I love how the very formal gardens give way to the more natural seeming Japanese garden and pathway! All of it is SO BEAUTIFUL! Her having both styles is just unbelievable. And so many water features and beautiful art! ❤❤❤
I couldn't agree more! I am dreaming of visiting again.
ABSOLUTLY beautiful it just makes one want to garden if you don't, I love gardening, thank you for sharing
Whoa, what a gorgeous space! Unbelievable, she has skills, I've seen so many ideas I can incorporate in my garden on a small scale though haha. Thank you so much for sharing this.
wow...amazing lay out and choices of plants. So organize and uniform...Beautiful.Thanks for sharing Kim and Yvonne.
What a lovely garden. It's worthy a second viewing.
Thank you so much Yvonne and Kim for sharing this beautiful garden with us! ❤
I had the pleasure of meeting Yvonne this spring and it is such a delight to see her gorgeous garden. Thank you for this tour (and hi Yvonne 👋)
Hi Erin! Thanks for the kind words.
Kimberley: it was actually at Brookside Gardens in Maryland during their book tour for American Roots:)
I’m a lifelong resident here in Oregon, and if you ever get the chance to visit the Portland, Oregon Japanese gardens and the official “Rose City” Rose Garden in Portland, it would be not only a visual paradise, but you would absolutely be on sensory overload as you take in the breathtaking varieties of roses present on the area.
More than 10,000 individual rose bushes bloom in the International Rose Test Garden (IRTG) from late May through October, representing over 610 different rose varieties.
The primary purpose of the Garden is to serve as a testing ground for new rose varieties. In the beginning, while World War I was raging, hybridists sent roses from around the world to Portland’s garden for testing.
Thank you and Evon for sharing. So many ideas!
Utterly amazing. So beautiful. What an accomplishment.
Amazing! Beautiful and restrain except for the natural Japanese garden. My favorite. Imagine to walk along that path, enjoy nature, and tranquility--feeling appreciative to own such a gorgeous property! :) This garden could rivals some of the famous gardens in England. TY so much for the special treat and escape!
What a kind compliment! I get a lot of inspiration from gardens in England but also from visiting many gardens here in the US.
Great separation in the rooms in her garden!
Beautiful garden..👍
Good filming and beautiful landscape. My only criticism was the entry. The choice of furniture seems out of place.
Wow. What a garden. Formal gardens not really my thing, but her Japanese/back garden was really nice with the meandering paths and water feature.
Sorry “Welcome to Yvonne botanical garden 😅where you can find any plants 🪴 you like 👍🏽 😊
So true!
There are no words. Hard to believe this is a private garden. Wanted to ask what the acreage is and how many teams are needed to keep it so perfectly. So lovely.
Beautiful garden
It's a beautiful garden👍😊💜🌸🌸
How do you chose where to sit???
Fantastic garden. Yvonne has an eye for detail. Everything is spot on. Please Yvonne when you are in the UK, would love to meet you. This is one of the best gardens I have ever seen.
Like others have said. This is not a private garden... It's a private park. I am sure this has evolved over many years with all the mature plants and landscaping. Most likely this was done by a garden designer . And I am sure there is a whole crew that keeps this looking so incredible. What a blessing to be able to live in such surroundings.
In her latest video she states she spends 4 hours a day maintaining this garden !
Hi: the garden is 5 years old. With the exception of the pool terrace and white garden, the rest of the garden was designed by me. In the pool terrace and white garden, much of the plant choices were made by me. All hedges in the garden were introduced by me.
@@rosemama9995it looks like paradise, I'm so jealous!!
Many garden tours have closed since COVID, so thank you so much for sharing your magnificent garden with us.
Wow absolutely stunning. Love gardening with a passion. Tks for this most inspiring tour. 💚🇨🇦
Yvonne’s garden is magnificent! A triumph! She is a true painter with plants.
Beautiful ! Her own private park!
It is a nice treat 😊thank you so much for sharing your friends garden. I do enjoy a garden tour so much since your trip to UK.
Thanks for sharing Yvonne's garden. Great job on the video. Her garden is not only beautiful but so relaxing and serene. Do you know how large her property is? 😊
It’s 1.7 acres.
So Amazing!
So enchanting
Please ask what’s the color of the obelisk? 🙏🏼😬
Omgoodness thank you 😊 🙏🏼🤍
Enjoy watching your garden ,and thank you very much .
WOW
Oh my goodness! This is GORGEOUS! I’m glad Yvonne’s garden isn’t in my neighborhood because my little patch of yard would be put to major shame 😆
Hare Krishna. So beautiful garden. Good job 🎉🎉🎉
@@TheRoseGeek welcome
Divno zaista prelepo je sve.
Could you tell me the name of the very first light pink climbing rose on the right side - saint something? I cannot find the spelling of what the name is. Thank your!
St Swithun
I really can’t describe in words how absolutely beautiful this garden is. Wow. Just Wow…… Magnificent, really. Yvonne is truly gifted. Many thanks for sharing this magical place and providing inspiration to all of us. 💗
I agree! Thank you for watching.
I actually like talking and comments😊
Gorgeous! However, not at all practical for most people. Expensive to put in and maintain. Too time consuming to keep up or too expensive to hire help. Nice to see, though. Thank you.
Hi: spending 4-5 hours working in the garden every day is not possible for everyone. Luckily I’m retired and I’m a master gardener so I do have the time. Working in the garden is not a chore for me. It brings me a lot of joy and is often a reflective time for me. When I visit large public gardens, I try to take away ideas that can be adapted to the home garden. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Beautiful, welcoming. Thank you for sharing this! 🌀🌀🌀💛💛🌀🤗🤗🤗
It really is! Thank you for watching! 😊
She must have landscapers doing all that work, a garden envy
I have a lawn company that cuts and feeds the lawn, someone to spray the roses and someone to trim the boxwoods once a year. And help with putting down compost once a year. Otherwise, it’s me. I spend about 4-5 hours a day during the growing season. It helps that I’m retired:)
Belleza
As a gardener this is just so beautiful to watch. i would love to have sevel of gardens like this and maintain them all year round for customers.
I came here right after watching the latest video of you two walking the garden. My goodness the balance color and forms take my breath away. Thanks for sharing!!
Such a well maintained garden, the planting is superb.l love ths garden❤.
Thank you for watching! I am hoping that Yvonne will let me tour again this spring!
What were the columnar trees behind the Annabelles and the Allium at 2:50?
Yes, European hornbeam. This particular one is ‘Frans Fontaine’.
Thank you!
absolutely beautiful garden 😍😍😍
Wow, that climbing rose is huge! So pretty!
That was beyond beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! It’s perfection
Wow 😍😍😍😍😍
You do a great job “introducing” gardens❤ just so enjoyable, informative, and your voice is lovely:)…Your so good and point out trouble spots where it’s helpful for the viewer. Thank you❤
WOW!!! What an amazing garden. Thank you Kimberly for this video and thank you Yvonne for allowing us to share in your glorious garden. It is magazine worthy. So much detail...😍🤩😍
What tree that shaped into a mushroom shape?
Hi. 00:39 - what rose you mentioned? "Saint-....."????
St Swithun
What is that green growth in between the stone? Everything is absolutely gorgeous!
It is Mazus. I love it also.
Just dreaming that I'm walking with you in that lovely space.
She must have a team to keep that garden in perfect shape.
Stunning! Her roses are in beautiful condition. How does she combat the effects of the humidity and heat of Virginia? I am in Maryland (similar conditions) and have become quite discouraged to continue with roses because they look awful after the first flush.
Show-Stopper, my bones hurt from imagining doing something like this on my own! :) I guess I need a Magic-Juan in the Garden! :)
I could imagine working in a place like this, but there is no way I could manage it all by myself. My own garden has a Grave prepared for me! LOL It does!
Yeah, I think I would Love to show up to Work every day at a wonderful place like this....and then go back to my needful beds! LOL
Stunning! I’d love to see you do an interview with Yvonne! She obviously has much to teach, her garden is so lovely!
Thankyou for bringing us along, your calibre of friends is taking me places I’d otherwise never go!
@@TheRoseGeek ThankYOU! I’ll keep my fingers crossed, either way I’ll keep watching. I love how your garden is shaping up.
How does she attach her climbers?
I just use string ties and attach to the arbor. For the ones against the chimney I use a combination of masonry d tees and ties.
Thank you for sharing! So very pretty
Have a vision - make a plan and do it!! Work on different areas and let them come together over the years. I am happy that I have a small front and back yard
Сад великолепен! Спасибо.
Спасибо за просмотр
This is the most beautiful home garden I have ever seen.. like a painting.. just beautiful.. Thank you for sharing it🌷
Where are her arbors from the last metal ones with new roses?
Garden Artisans
Breathtaking! Did her instagram disappear?
It’s @rosemama20
@@rosemama9995 Thanks!! I found it :) Your style is incredible!!!
I love the "Liberty Biberty" guy !!

Delightful. Where is this?
Absolutely beautiful gardens. Wondering if drip irrigation is needed in this zone.
Hello , trying to figure out what plants are in the urns in the eating area Thank you
Nemesia and mandevilla.
@@rosemama9995 Thank you so much
Mind-blowing garden❤
The traffic noise spoils what would otherwise be a tranquil retreat. What a shame.
Wow. How big is that property? I need her designer and her staff.. gorgeous
That garden is exquisite!
