I use a tarp like that, BUT always have it on the kickstand-side, in case the bike tip. With the tarp on the kickstand-side, it's more secured when it's windy, and I don't need to worry about it tipping on the gear (or me) during camping.

That passenger back rest looks bad ass! IMC accessory or aftermarket? Also, what made you choose say the Scout Bobber over the Chief Classic? I'm talking about the one without soft/hard bags.
