I'm surpised Skyler wasn't prosecuted too. She was an accessory and accomplice to Walt. She should be charged for criminal conspiracy, since she later enabled and knowingly profited from this. She's no angel. It's amazing she wasn't given jail time, taken to court, testified, or put under house arrest.
Edit: Dang, much love folks. I will add, just because you make a plea deal, doesn't mean it goes thru.

This was the most horrifying moment in the show for me. You finally get to see Walt's actions affect him. I feel it's because we get to see Flynn finally see his father for who he is. And Walt taking Holly is the most terrifying moment. Ugh this show is so good and such a slow burn but it's this episode where Walt's world finally crashes down around him. (Yes I know he took holly as a way to clear Skylar from any charges, but in the moment it's really shocking) Specifically the lines "where is Hank" is so devastating. Because for many people watching they've been so caught up in the fast paced action that in this slower paced scene the fact that Hank died is finally processing and Walt is finally facing consequences.

Hank own stupidity and line of work killed him. If you're going against armed criminals in your line of work being as entitled prick as hank was you will get yourself killed, it's just a matter of time.
He broke a LOT laws during the show, thinking he is better than everyone just because he was entitled with a badge. 100% had this thing coming for him, and Walter actually stepping up to protect this idiot was act of sincere kindness. It was underlined dozens of times in the show that Hank is hypocrite.
Btw, his own stupidity killed not just him and destroyed not just his life; essentially without Hank everything would be fine.
In the end he's dead, his partner is dead, Skylar and kids counting cents, hiw wife mourning, Jesse's gf (sort of) dead, Jesse was tormented, Walter's dead - ALL of this because Hank was feeling so entitled to use his badge of superioty instead of spending 1 min to think if it would actually change anything.
He's the main villain of the series, imo. Not intentionally, he's just entitled and stupid. Good detective, stupid human being.

I could see that he possibly played a part in his own death with playing dirty to lure out Walt. Though the thing is he would’ve never died if Walter had never tried to call a hit on Jesse. Walt’s greed and hunger for control is what ruined everything. Hank had things he could’ve done better but definitely has no role in the main downfall of everything. Walt being a greedy egotistical ass is what caused everything to go to shit. Whether he had a heart or whatnot by the end of the show can be debated, but I believe everything he did was to just get rid of the guilt he had and make himself feel better.

Walter sincerely care for a lot a lives of people close to him. Hank only cares for his ego, never once in the show he actually help someone; all his doings are for HIM, and he waste people like nothing. Sure, he didnt kill as many people (arguably cause he wasnt in such circumstances), but he managed to destroy his life, and all his family life, and waste his partner.

Walt got to hide away and run like a coward then wanted to come back and “fix” things. Though he just wanted to make himself feel better and whole time Jesse was suffering cause of his actions. I dont see Walter as a problem. He genuinely care about a lot of people, and never let anyone from his family die, albeit even trying to save that pos Hank.
His actions hurt a lot of people, but not his family. Yes, Skylar was hysterical sometimes, but its kinda far from literal death.
Jesse was a mess to begin with, doubtfully he would end up living normal life without Walt.
Not Hank hater, I love him as a character, as all other characters, briliantly written.
But Hank clearly is creator of all problems for his family and Walter family (in the end), and Homes family.
Hank has no problem assaulting people and get away with it, breaking law and bragging it in the Walter face, list goes on.
Remove Hank ego from the equation, if he choose not to follow Walter (again, nothing would change from that, but idiotic egomaniac cop couldnt realize that), there would be no tragedies in all families of main characters in the show. I think it's you who missed that. It's all started really going south when Hank open that book sitting on a toilet.
Of course if he thought about this it would be so out of a character, he was an idiot throughout all show, so nothing wrong with writing, it's all in the character.

Walt had become an absolute monster. No ethics or morals - little to no empathy - all ego.
Hanks death was the first sobering moment for Walt since he had become unhinged. Everything up to that point was under HIS thumb as if he was the greatest composer of the worlds darkest symphony…
But he couldn’t do the one thing that mattered most to him - save Hank.
He knew after this scene he would never be redeemable again - even if he truly regretted his actions - and that is the ultimate punishment. Being truly sorry and never given forgiveness…

Right. Now I don’t want to conflate forgiveness with reconciliation. You can be forgiven, and never reconcile. However, no, I do not think he even cared to be forgiven. The monster in him was not done. He could see it and recognize how ugly it was, and still pressed forward, as he did driving off with the baby. It’s not just momentum, that would slow down for a person that felt truly sorry after his friend got killed, the “toxicity” kept multiplying. The calculating. The planning on his toes. The “morality” of protecting his family with money as tho reputation and deep scars didn’t matter one bit. And he refused to be punished. The cops didn’t get there until right after he died, always seemed appropriate, in an inappropriate way. Def a monster.

I know some might hate me for this but with Skylar’s knowledge of Walt’s situation and lack thereof, she made the best call. Walt was tattered and looked horrible, as if he had witnessed a struggle or fight, and seemed panicked and constantly told them to get moving fast. She reacted how a smart and logical person would react. Props to her actor 👍🏼

Nah, she just panicked and ruined everything and added even more stress to walts situation, crime is a game, play your cards right you're good, but she had to constantly stress him out and talk about how they're in danger and we need the police and kick the kids out etc. Do you know how many Gustavs and Walter's are out there and we don't even know becsuse how good they are at the game, Skylar is the perfect example of "trouble at home, distracted at work" for Walter,

Skylar is an idiot, she chased him out without knowing anything about the situation other than "Hanks dead", what if the people who killed Hank were coming to her house and Walt was trying to get them out? She didn't consider anything logical and acted on pure emotion

This episode was so tragic, terrifying, and haunting. Nothing worse than watching a family be torn apart by evil. Walt saying "we're a family!", being faced with the reality and consequences of his actions, and then taking his daughter to try to preserve any bit of goodness in his life was so intense. It's one of those moments in the show where there's just no way you're rooting for the guy anymore and you just see him as the antagonist.

You cannot possibly think of Jesse being ungrateful, he wanted out seasons ago but got manipulated by Walt to stay countless times, AND as if that wasn't enough he let Jane and poisoned Brock (an actual child). Imagine finding out that your business partner not only let your significant other die but also poisoned the son of your second s/o.
