I feel that with aespa seeing the SMCU episodes would help you understand the MV’s, even for me that I’ve followed from the start understanding the universe created for them makes me understand the mv’s and lyrics better. But aside from that, all 4 are super talented, so I hope you learn more about them.

I always like honest reactions, so you guys are my fav reaction channel rn. Sometimes with SM (aespa's company) songs you gotta listen a few times to get into it because of all the different parts

I dunno, they really love SKZ... and this style certainly isn't JUST an SME thing, it's also most definitely a SKZ thing too. So maybe they just need a couple songs. I'm a firm believer in always giving a group 3 chances as least. With at least one of those being a fan recommendation.
No one can be first hit wonder for everyone, and if they aren't, that shouldn't mean anything. I have seen people pick a groups' one and only great song to date first, and be disappointed by the rest of their tracks.
I have also seen many reactors absolute favorite group be one in which they hated the first two songs, only to have the 3rd one end up being the money shot. Ultimately discovering that every single other song of theirs is a hard hit for them.
So... I say they just need to give another one of their songs a go. They aren't the kind to throw a group away because of one disagreeable song.
Your honesty is appreciated, I love the song, it’s just one of those things that when you’re just too used to standard artists we have today like Cardi b and many of those male rappers with the lil in the beginning of their names it starts getting too meh and all sound the same really which is why I dropped my interest in rap music so much over the last 6 years. But this song is like rap meets techno/trance/dubstep and with some strong vocal influence and it’s something that at first it’s like eh? And it being Korean mixed with English it’s not something for an English speaking person to be able to sing along to.. but that’s okay. Once first time listeners get used to it then it becomes more understandable music wise. I love that it doesn’t sound like just any other song from a rapper or pop artist today. It’s like an evolution of how one can take different genres and mix them well together. The video itself yeah it can look like there’s a lot going on. But just gotta keep up and understand what’s going on, it’s like those movies that have about 5 different situations in one but at the end they all connect and you’re like ooohhh okay now I get it.
But if y’all really don’t like it it’s understandable, sometimes it’s really not for everyone. Till this day I am not a fan of cardi B and I heard all her songs and even as a rap fan they just don’t hit me compared to Minaj or others.
I’m also totally new to K-pop. My first Kpop encounter was Blackpink when they performed in Coachella on April, it was a great show I almost didn’t watch it because I didn’t know them and after Charli XCX finished I almost exited the livestream, but i stayed and watched Blackpink and loved it. Since then i can say I got into some Kpop. Some groups are too much or too catchy but right now Aespa and Blackpink are my top choices.

Even understanding the concept this song isn't really that good, especially to Americans, hearing the word savage over and over again like its a serve really is corny and cringe 😭. I think they wouldve liked "Girls" or "next level" but maybe Aespa isn't for them and that's ok. Everyone has preferences :)
