  • Racism is systemic and historic. To dismantle racism, institutions need to consider the structures and practices that impede equal opportunity and equity on campuses. Higher education campuses need to be based on diversity, equity and inclusion in their curriculum, in the classroom and in their university community. In this panel discussion, the speakers interrogate important questions about the words and actions of anti-racism. What do we teach our students and children about today and all the days that brought us here? How do campuses challenge racism, discrimination and prejudice head-on? How can campuses be actively anti-racist?
