I use to eat tons of iguanas growing up in the Caribbean. Glad you guys are into it. Very lean, healthy and they are vegans. If it’s too tough then try slow cooking it with a curry recipe. Good job brother!!

Reed you’re the man. I’ve seen some iguanas in the Philippines that were huge. However I didn’t think they were a problem here in the states. I heard that they were some good eating.
Wondering what the meat taste like.... Fish flavor, with the darkness of the meat maybe a waterfowl/ duck flavor?
Likely, along with similar to turtle.
In my opinion it tastes closest to ham.
