I can not play flightsims in 2D anymore. I would just get the VR setup. The view in the cockpit on DCS is not correct either. The FOV in the cockpit on 2D is completely wrong, everything is farther away than it appears in the cockpit. Why you have to zoom in all the time on 2D. Anyone can test it, just go to the outside view and back in the cockpit. You will see the difference on objects, like buildings and mountains. The outside view is the correct distance.
@@dcsanoldfighterpilotspersp4833 I have lived streamed on Twitch and uploaded to RUclips, but you can physically see what I am doing. I don't think it looks much different than someone playing in 2D.

you can insert the clutter back to the air 2 air radar to see how your flying if your level or not
Hmm I figured there was a setting somewhere. As it is I am fixing the view when I am heads in and that works great.

I am mostly VR but this has certain advantages if you want to explain something to someone as they can physically see what you are doing.
