    Aqui no Brasil chamamos essa planta de cactus,. geralmente usado para ornamentação de jardins.
    Sei bem que na região do nordeste também é muito utilizado na alimentação de humanos e alimentação de animais principalmente na época das secas ou estiagem.
    Como é lindo a diversidade e como o nosso Criador pensou em todas as coisas!!

      “Let rain diminish their spirits”.. so strange to me. Rain has always made me so happy. I’ve never understood when ppl complain about rain. It’s like saying you don’t like delicious food. So strange to me. 🩷🌧️

      Claro que no es San Pedro o los mandaría a alucinar y no creo que eso sea tradicional ya que las cactáceas son exclusivamente americanos

    • @elizabethmedel4159
      @elizabethmedel4159 3 года назад

      Soy de México y no sabía que las flores de los Áloe se comen por acá. Tal vez las flores de calabaza, bugambilias, jamaica. Y tienes razón, los del video parecen Cereus. La simple flor del San Pedro tiene efectos alucinógenos, como ya te comentaron y estas personas hubieran sufrido una sobredosis si hubieran comido realmente San Pedro (Echinopsis pachanoi, originario de Sudamérica).

    I like to juice my San Pedro cactus. Just look online for dosage first. I would take a medium sized dose to start with. If you dehydrate the tea down using a fan and mild heat off a slow cooker you get a paste. And it's much easier to take that than drink the bitter tea.
