    I had the same sort of issue with my 2001 O&W Kartago Dive Watch. The clasp would fail to catch multiple times and with adjustments made by a jeweler. After about 5-6 months on my wrist the pins that hold the bracelet together began to fall out. It was such a poor experience that I sold it on E-Bay a few years ago with the caveat that it would need a new bracelet or a rubber strap to be wearable. It's too bad as it was a nice watch that I thought really looked nice. I replaced it with a Citizen Promaster Automatic with the blue dial and have no issues with it after 5 years.

      It seems that the clasp has been at least partially updated in new models. Also half links have been added to the bracelet. Maybe they managed to correct some of the issues

      @@WatchInTime That's good to know, but I think the next watch I'm going to go for is either a Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Saturation 68, or a Citizen Gran Tour in the blue dive form. Just had a bad experience with the Ollech & Wajs.

    I enjoyed the review and thanks for getting it out so quickly. Hey that espresso looked good!
    I agree about the position of the watch and comfort regarding the crown but I can remember an Oris Big Crown I had years ago did this no matter how I adjusted the bracelet. Are you contacting O&W for them to comment on the clasp? Ialso discovered O&W for the first time this year. Nowadays I like to seek out the smaller, less well known brands. I’m looking for a new daily wearer and Guinand Flight Engineer, Damasko DA36 and Sinn 104 St Sa I B are on the shortlist! I’d like to consider an O&W, maybe a C1000, but whereas it wears well on you, it maybe too much for my 17.5 cm wrist.

      @WatchInTime  4 года назад +1

      Yes i agree, but this is not an Oris Big crown, much smaller. I dont think you wont have any problems, of course this is the type of watch you cannot try as there are no shops.
      I dont know if to contact OW as the clasp works, theres something on the design i think that just dont let it latch as it should. I love all watches, expensive, famous or not. all have something interesting and unique to give. From the three you mentioned i would choose no doubt the Sinn. an excellent piece. My friend has a 16,5cm wrist and the OW wears well!

      @@WatchInTime Yes Im the same, although I have it two well known watches left in my collection: Tag Heuer Sports Elegance and a Rolex Explorer I. My others are lesser known. Good to know that it works on a smaller wrist.

    i didnt knew they restarted the brand. i like the Ocean Graph, i do believe that the incidences should've been loomed but it looks stunning.
    I wanted to ask since you bough one for your self, was there any taxes coming with the purchase from Switzerland or not? ( EU taxes ).
    Thank you.

      @WatchInTime  3 года назад +1

      I actually bought 2- the p104 too. There is another video i did. To eu there are no additional taxes. The price they state includes them. And although i was contacted by courier to give tax information, none where charged

      @@WatchInTime Thanks, i am strongly considering the OG at this point, as i was looking for a robust tool watch with similar characteristics.

      HAHAHA, i wish i knew this before, sorry about that! the sound is perfect and spot on! it has a perfect sound and is 120clicks. of course this is a diving bezel with decompression bezel, i dont know how to use. but it works great!

      @@WatchInTime The decompression bezel of the new OW Oceangraph has three concentric zones. The most central zone indicates the elapsed dive time, from 0 to 60 minutes (A). It also contains indications for the maximum depth of the dive, carried out in meters (B). In the intermediate zone are marked the dive times (C) for which decompression will be necessary, according to the depth indicated in the most central zone (B). The outermost zone of the bezel indicates the decompression times, in minutes (D), that the diver must respect at a depth of three meters, calculated according to the depth (B) and total duration of the dive (A).

    The cheap looking and what looks like a poor performing clasp is stopping me from buying the C1000. . It needs a re think and upscaling in quality

      It seems they have just launches a v2 clasp, still is pressed SS. I think they want to keep it vintage style. I will ask them as i really like the models and new Nivachron chrono they are launching

      I rarely let the bands get in the way of getting a watch I like.OW bands always suck but there's a ton of cheap high quality oyster bands on ebay and all my watches have these bands. OWs are really tough watches though. Worth getting.
