Subscribed to see this lovely little project evolve. Would it be possible to have the base console do all the audio to get that authentic 16-bit Sonic sound (and not that awfully compressed ring sound effect) and free up resources on the 32X?
@@protocetid the answer for now is ‘maybe’. It’s our intention but there might be technical limitations, as odd as that may seem.
@ Appreciate the answer! I had suggested the same thing for the 32X port of Tomb Raider because it would add to the surreality of a PS1 game (partially) running on a 16-bit system. No one would tell me if it was possible or not.
This looks like the most high effort april fools joke of all time and it’s December
finally the 32x has another reason to be used
It finally went from an april fools build of srb1 to something absolutely outstanding!
A real Sonic game finally unleashed the power of 32x
That's crazy impressive, I speculated recently something like this would be possible if trimmed down.
That's some crazy timing lmfaooo
The game that Sega denied us on the 32X.
Brilliant, looks awesome
Aye nice work on the port it looks and works like a charm.
one suggestion i have is a button to focus the camera to where the character is looking if possible.
funky gfz1, its like a mix of 2.2 and 2.1 without slopes and a few other stuff
WAIT, IS THIS ON THE ACTUAL 32X?!
NOW THIS IS ANOTHER LEVEL OF "DOOM PORTING", DAMN!!
Finally, Sonic Mars has come to fruition in another form!
