  • Before the rollout of the new electronic health records system CST Cerner began in 2018, health care providers across B.C. maintained different patient record systems. When young people transitioned into adult care from children’s services, they often only had access to a short summary of their medical history. In this video, CST Chief Transformation Officer Sally Turner explains how she experienced firsthand the difficulties caused for families by disjointed patient records systems, inspiring her to get involved with the project.
