Kit and her fiancé are hosting a Mardi Gras costume party at her huge mansion when frightening news arrives. Her ex-husband, a crazed murderer, has just escaped from prison and is believed to be costumed as the corpse-like character from Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death." Кино
My grandmother use to be good friends with Ida Lupino an her husband Howard Duff in the ‘60’s and 70’s when she lived in L.A. She use to tell me and my brother and sisters when we were very small about the good times with Ida Lupino, like going to parties, shopping, etc.
Ida Lupino was a mesmerizing actor and a superbly gifted writer/director. For a time she was married to (and collaborated with) my great uncle, Collier Young. One of my life's greatest regrets was not meeting her as a child, when our family lived only hours away.
They divorced in 1951 after a short 2 year marriage. You must be around 80-85 years old now, good on you.
Excellent! An afternoon feature. Lemme grab a beer.
Ida Lupino. Icon. ❤ Thanks Pflix!😊
I adore Ida Lupino!
Actor, writer, director, and producer Ida Lupino is the First Lady of PizzaFLIX.
@@PizzaFLIX as she should be 😉
great new intro ! (sorry if it’s been a while, I’ve been MIA)
and Ida Lupino 🤩😍 love her !!
found her checkbook in a Palm Springs ladies’ room back in the 70’s … I was just a kid, but I knew her name … TWC ❤
I like Ida Lupino's movies. Thanks for the upload. 🙂
Thanks for the "mini-movie," PizzaFlix! Ida Lupino was one good actress.
Thank you!
Always enjoy watching this lovely, versatile actress. Thanks for the upload.
Ida Lupino elevated everything in which she was a participant.
Thanks🍕Flix!❤️
Thank you 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕 Always great to watch Ida Lupino .❤🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
Thank you. Sounds a wonderful idea, yes, you go alone. The police lieutenant Arthur Space, had such a great speaking voice, I wonder if he could sing as well.
Superb.
Originally telecast on April 15, 1954.
Wonderful Ida Lupino! And how gorgeous was her Queen of Clubs costume?
Didn't Howard Hughes and Ida have thing going at some point?
I know he and Katherine Hepburn did …

Katherine Hepburn was strictly a lesbian who had an affinity for dark-haired young women. Her “love affair” with Spencer Tracy was, supposedly, a big sham.
@@EYE_GOTCHA I thought she had a basic affinity for whomever she put her sights on 🤔
didn’t she shack up w Hughes for a time (?)
appreciate your input
Poor girl, married the wring one.
We meet again, 20alphabet! 🖐️
I've watched a few of Ida Lupino's films and enjoyed them all.
This was predictable though, too obvious Drew was the Cavalier.
Today's her birthday (February 4th). ❤️
Spoiler
Uhm, it's Drew in the greenhouse with a candle stick?
Great movie. Just one problem. A serious one. Not one hint of dixieland jazz band music.
It's not that I don't like the movies and series Lupino was in, but I've never really cared for her as an actress. Her roles (or acting) always seemed to be very monotone and dry.
MRS. IDA LUPINO WAS A SUPERB ACTRESS, LIKE MOST FROM THAT ERA.
But unlike the rest, Ida Lupino was also a writer, director, and producer.
