@@nxtvr3506 the drill is fundamental to table tennis. The question is how well and how consistent can you play it. I have watched the Chinese play in person. top chinese players have supremacy advantage of chinese rubbers. Top chinese rubbers have more latency reflex time than european rubbers. It means that when balls hit chinese rubbers, balls cause rubbers to deform, then when balls leave rubbers, then rubbers must return to original form, but top chinese rubbers return rather slowly to original forms, eventhought rubbers can be hard, but they slowly return to original forms. While european and japanese rubbers immediately return to original form with fast speed.
For beginners, for master, european and japanese rubbers are suitable and comfortable. But for highest world top class players, chinese rubbers with high latency reflex time are supremacy, because high latency reflex time feature of rubbers is the must-have feature to increase accuracy in rallies. It require more phisical strenght, but it increase accuracy and help easy make spin.
