Great Video, I am the guy who suggested you to make the video of buffed Regolo😊 This ship is heavily relied on the unique Italian Captain, it requires the gun feeder to quickly switch back and forth with HE and Sap, as experienced DD player will always bow in or stern out to avoid your sap. I feel the problem of this ship, same as Alvaro, is its unknown unexpected bad dispersion, as you reported in your Alvaro video. Other weakness of this ship is I cant take RPF sacrifying range like my Alvaro to hunt DDs. Other than these, she is a great ship, I love to use it to harrass Radar ships like DM, PR or even Svea or Worcester.
I play with max gun range as well but I also added rdf. This was a game changer for me as I used to get spotted and focused but now I can quickly see where the DD is coming from and speed boost into him before he can getaway. Love this ship!
Wait how long does the speed boost last?!?! Hagostaeldmann has a fabulous review of the Regolo and goes into the thought process in a lot of depth. Almost all your damage from guns in the second game was within the regular gun range, you would have killed them faster and maybe even survived the Final dd engagement!
I’m surprised how little you turn off your AA. Twice in this game you could have avoided getting spotted if you just turned it off until the planes got within your AA range. Still a solid replay as always!
Is there a smoke cruiser which has a beter Stealth then the Svea and Harbin? I have been playing my Harbin directly behind a DD and it works like a charm but I would like to be at 9.0 detection.
I dont like the line...like it is strong if you run into a dd and that sap hurts...but something about it just feels weak. The combo of the range, dispersion, concealment, size/mobility is just too bad. But if they make those things too good, the sap/smoke combo is just too strong and it will be like the buffed Columbo and almost too strong. It needs a little more love IMO.

I don't think I'll ever grind this line out but if I did I would absolutely build for max range.
Man it's a fun T9 and T10 though. Every match is pretty exhilarating.

I killed two subs yesterday with torps in gearing. One at mid range and one point blank. Torps are the best way not guns or depth charges lol
Switching woupdnhave taken too much time, HE is just fine.
@ y have double kill on subs with dephcharges (akizuki) bus sap is stil the best amo to kill subs
well, at least you can stay out of Libertad secondary range now.
