He has self-peel, can kite aggressively, extreme zone control, and is an AP caster (my preference). I will just say that it's really cool to see league creators spread their passion/knowledge for a specific champ, especially for the lesser-played ones like Viktor. Challenge 1: I would go luden's tempest because 4 out of 5 of their team are squishies. I would go sorc shoes for the additional magic pen to kill all the squishies. I would then build lich bane or zhonyas if zed is fed I would take the standard aery rune page. Oh and summoners, flash and tp
For the build quiz section (that i liked a lot) i wouldnt go liandry in the first case UNTIL i see what the game develops like, if i see that twitch is having a good time, i wouldnt go for liandry, neither if jayce didnt lose, in soloq at the time that you get the boots + lost chapter you can prety much see the picture of the game, wich lane won and stuff, TK is a problem but i dont think he carries 1v9. In a late state game i would think that corki is the most problematic target and go for a luden (the mov speed helps a lot too) As for the third match, i would think about oblivion orb, because of the sylas since it has a big chance that i have to face him in a split, also i liked the cleanse tip, unfortunally i'm so bad using this spell that i gave up long ago, maybe i should try using more often, barrier as well (i'm big fan of exhaust) Finally for the last game, i would consider ludens because their team is kinda sketchy to be around, i would go for a full poke build, luden passive helps a lot to proc yasuo's passive. I'm current d2 in BR server (jokes aside) i was 70% winrate with viktor (ultil 2 days ago that i end in a 9 lose streak, ffs) Thx a lot for the video, big fan, always watch every one of them.
Solo queue is pretty chaotic sometimes so I think kench could totally 1v9 the game through split pushing. If he kills Jayce matching him can take a lot of the base decently quick. If I don't have liandries you're both just siting there wave clearing while no one has kill pressure. I think oblivion orb would be totally fine for the 3rd one grabbing it and siting on it for most of the game. If you were doing well I don't think ludens would be bad for the last one, I would just prefer ever frost, you are not looking to step up with it, it's more of a peel tool for when they go on you. I would heavily consider going Liandry's cause that's a Tahm Kench, oblivion orb later will depend if no one else in my team builds it or if Kench becomes irrelevant. Definitely going Void Staff as soon as possible because Corki will build Hexdrinker. Liandry's- Sorc's- oblivion orb- Void Staff Challenge 2 Merc treads is a must. I'll go phase rush or first strike against Fizz to get as much gold as possible and phase rush to juke reposition away from Leona, Qiyana, and Lucian. Zhonya's is a must I'm confident in my spacing while Crown is tempting I'm going Liandry's and stay at the back. TP and Flash if the Fiora doesn't take TP, barrier or cleanse and flash too. Liandry's- Merc's- Zhonya Challenge 3 Sylas and Sej is too tanky so it's either an Everfrost and just shred them while kiting, but they have better cooldowns on gap closing abilities so I'm leaning more on Liandry's. Merc's game and banshees. I can't time my cleanses so I could just get Morgana Q and a whole chain of cc after. Zhonya is considering, but not until it's an absolute must. 1 All totally reasonable oblivion orb isn't super helpful into kench since he doesn't start regening his grey health till he hasn't been hit for a bit. 2 I like trying to really chunk a fizz level 1-2 it stops him from being able to go for trades until he gets a back off, thats why I like aery, any of the options are fine depending on your play style. Since the team is already stacked with damage as well unless you position really well I think crown is needed. 3 I think that's all totaly great 4 I feel like a lot of people under estimate ever frost on vik in these situations, the yas, hec & kennen are trying to dive as hard as they can or flank, if you don't waste the active or miss it, it makes them scared to commit that hard in fear of getting chain cc'd. If yas ults anyone other than you can you're in range he is straight up dead from everfrost, W the cc is unavoidable and to long. Great thinking overall and lots of things change based on how a game is playing out and its good to try and adapt to it.
How would you want that video done? I think maybe taking laning phases and going over them? That's kinda what I was trying to do with all the solo queue commentaries if you're struggling vs a champ look up that champ in my vids and watch. I could do little tips in a more condensed format maybe.

When I play Malz with future's market, sometimes I'll start sapphire + refillable. That way it's only 900g to get a lost chapter. Do you think that's ever worth to try on viktor? Thanks! And is cosmic insight mostly for teleport cd reduction? Or does it help dictate the mythic you build as well because it gives item haste? Last bit of questions for you. I started picking up viktor in lower elo, and the laning phase totally makes sense to me. Don't really roam unless youre contesting fights you can win at important objectives, try to pop off after you have 2 augments and 2 items. But I'm still having trouble with team fight positioning and knowing my "role" in the damage department. Could you make a guide on what the goals for viktor are during engagements or when during the game you're trying to force fights? Thanks!
I don't go crown or ever frost nearly as often. I go liandies most games now. I go ludens if I'm the only source of ap damage, I'm snowballing and they don't have any crazy tanks. But yeah I go liandies like 85% of the time now
