It'll be cool if they do this things on the inspector for the custom resource thing: - They make the save, load, remove, etc accessible easily instead put them at the bottom of drop down. - Resource search bar.
hey queble please opt out of the "auto translate title and description" option in the video settings. I live in a german speaking country and youtube thinks this helps, while in reality messing with technical terms. Like as I speak german I know what "statisch typisierte Wörterbücher" should mean in this context, but this useless translation feature keeps popping up on new youtube videos and it is bugging the hell out of me.
@@queblegamedevelopment4143 yeah! If they just added that plugin someone created few months ago for embedded windows then it wasn't working back then for sure.
amazing improvements, but I bet they still haven't fixed that is caused by specific USB peripherals and their drivers, apparently triggering an elusive DirectInput bug on Windows.
Not sure if it's a glitch but I could only get through 5mins of the vid as ads were coming up every 30 seconds, that's way too much, will check later and hopefully it's been fixed, what I saw looked good so far 👍🏼
Still no export for any classes/types like in unity(you can export any type object and it will be showed in editor recursively) It looks like some architectural limitations make it hard to implement for Godot developers
I started making a game in Godot, but man Godot does not work very well. Now when having like 500+ files in the project, small files, the engine takes like 4-6 min to boot and is slow. Their prefab system does not work and often lead you to lose work. The editor is so unstable in many ways
@@diligencehumility6971strange you've had that issue as I've had a project with over 300 files imported not including all the scenes I've had to make using them on a system that I bought in 2013. And I don't ever lose work nor does it take long to load. I am used to unity though 😂 that was a shit show of an engine. Constantly losing work and the lag!! The awful input system where if you wanted two controllers you'd have to buy a plug in (heard they later incorporated that plug in) Rarely I have noticed that a project took a while 5-7 seconds to load in Godot though, but I'll take that over going to watch RUclips while my unreal/unity project explorer loads 😅 Sorry it's glitching for you, thankfully many other professionals Devs have released professional games with Godot with little trouble so maybe it's a skill issue.
4.4 is gonna be so great, I can't wait for the stable release so I can start using this on my current project
All of Godot 4 versions really are something else, what an awesome update
4.4 also loads wav files at runtime, so the initial file processing time is much faster 🙏
Looks good - thanks for running through all that.
Big leaps for the community! Thanks for covering this.
Great video, really informative and demonstrating features is much better than reading walls of text for someone like me. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the coverage!
Looks like one of the best improvements post 4.0 are coming in this version! Very cool
5:56 No way Jolt is now built-in Godot

Thanks for covering this. Looking forward to toying around with it once it hits Stable.

Hey! Thanks for the tip, I didn't know it was on!! I'll have to change that.
AHHH!!! Built in wiggle bones!!! Man that's awesome!
This is cool man, I'm gonna download it rn...
Super hyped by this new release. What editor theme are you using btw?
It's called 'Godot Minimal Theme' :)
@@queblegamedevelopment4143 thanks!
JOLT built in, nice!
I'm a new godot dev! this seems awesome!
Godot 4 is so cool I would feel incredible pain if I'm forced to do a project with Godot 3 again.
If I recall correctly the default setting for the physics engine in 4.4 will be Jolt.
It won't be default, but it will be a setting that's built with godot.
Not correct, but thats the aim in the future
4.4 is looking hella sick!
Right?! Super hyped.
Holy shit, finally
When are they coming out with the plugin that makes me less stupid?
It's Open Source! You can develop that yourself ;)
😂
Can we develop android xr apps using Godot now?
Godot is awesome, lots of cool things
Goddamnit I just got use to the 4.3
😅🫡
Unity users have been real quiet since the game tap drop 🤐
I suppose that embed window thing won't work for multiplayer right
You mean running multiple window instances? I guess I didn't even think about that! I'll have to test it out

Oh interesting, I haven't yet seen anything on this.
Do you know if it's currently a issue on the Github?
hell yea

Must be a glitch I only got one advert half way through then another free the video ended
uBlock Origin for PC browser or ReVanced for Android ;-)
Hmm interesting, I'll look into it.
I think RUclips will auto place midrolls, so maybe it got messed up
oooooo
Please disable youtube AI audio and description auto translate !
ué, por que o título está em português? 🙂
can you share your theme with us please?
Sure! It's the Godot Minimal Theme
unrelated but i like your hair
Haha thanks!

I guess I don't understand your comment exactly; do you mean export as in @export properties, or something else? :)

That's unfortunate :/
I haven't ever had these issues, but what version were you on?
@queblegamedevelopment4143 Newest available, 4.3. Its great for a free engine, but I wouldnt developer a professional game in this
Use 4.4
