This honestly comes off as a very biased, preconceived review. It's like you researched reviews before making your own and then made a brief review based on those reviews. Brian has a similar voice to Bruce but what most people seem to not realize is you can't accidentally have that voice. Brian grew up in Jersey and had that voice and that isn't something you can work towards. Either you have that voice or you don't. I've listened to Bruce/E Street band and the only similarities I come up with aside from the voice are mainly real people playing real instruments in a particular genre and telling stories. Aside from some lyrical references from previous gaslight songs, it's an old, worn out comparison. Gaslight is more aggressive. Bruce plays harmonica 10x better than Brian. Brian can't surpass Bruce and Bruce can't sound like Gaslight. They are 2 different avenues in the same state. Like JHC. How many bands play folk chords, have lead guitar, a gruff voice and tell stories? I sometimes wonder what the reception would be if gaslight wasn't a NJ band because then at least I'd hear a genuine review. Also, I was 20 when I hit serious heartbreak.you don't need to be 70 to be taken seriously on an experience. Sorry for the venting but when I want to hear a 2023 gaslight review I don't want to hear the same review I've heard since 2007. They have a complete catalog of songs. If they're basically a Bruce cover band, they've done way too well.
@@Nawk32 with all due respect, you're wrong about how we went about our review (nothing about it was "preconceived"). Maybe the reason why so many reviews hit on the same topics is because... we're all speaking the truth? Thanks for listening regardless!

Good discussion. Looking forward to the album.
Thanks for listening and the kind words!!
