- Overnight stay in Madrid's EasyHotel! (26/02/24). Whilst staying the night in Madrid, and being absolutely shattered after a day of vlogging, I decided to try out an EasyHotel!

For a moment there I was looking at that bathroom and thinking: "Surely it can't be THAT open plan, can it?!" That shower door arrangement is clever. What a lovely modern hotel - it looked absolutely spotless on the cleaning front too.

Glad to see your enjoying your holiday, you deserve it, I've been watching all the videos from the start, looks a great place.
Anyway won't be long now before I'm jetting off to Ibiza for a month to enjoy my birthday and plenty of sun sand good food and brilliant music to go with it too.

Stayed in a EasyHotel once in Milton Keynes, was a bit smaller and had no windows, great vlog G and doing 4 vlogs in a day is mental! But well done
I remember you showed me pictures of it haha!
I think you pay extra for rooms with windows.

Looks pretty decent for the price, being so far from a station could be an issue but then again, being close to the metro, could be the redeeming quality
The walk didn't feel too long tbf but ye we used the metro for ease as well

remember staying in a easyhotel near heathrow sometime ago. they used to charge for everything. towels, remote control and even windows if you wanted one. luckily it was a late arrival and an early departure. ended up using a shower in the ba lounge where they gave towels!

I stayed at an Easy hotel in Oxford. It’s cheap but you don’t get windows, or - controversially for us Brits - tea & coffee facilities.
Looks like a basic but decent hotel for a nights stay G. I enjoyed watching! I’ve never stayed in an Easy hotel before.
It was lovely!

Awesome vlog G I've never heard of Easy hotel. It looks like a nice hotel i always have that problem with the lift i stand there and the other one always opens first😅

I've done that before gone into the wrong door, I tried to go into a coffee place I've never been too and I couldn't find the right door all of them were looked, in the end I was too embarrassed to get in it. Looks a lovely room and with lots of features 😊 sounds like it needs thicker windows though to block out the traffic

Stayed in the Croydon one a few times and not as good as that one. Smells a bit funky, minimal effort made to hide the 60's office block it uses, but if you want no frills, is fine.
I want to smell it now 😂
I stayed in the new Easy Hotel in Dublin a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. Room was a bit on the small side, but the shower/bathroom was really big which is always a nice surprise. Love the wood effect keycards!
The Dublin Hotel is lovely, clean and tidy, but my word are the rooms small. Just enough room to walk around the bed.

The hotel has a window - luxury! When I'm in London I stay in the South Kensington Eaay Hotel which is basically an orange cupboard. The Madrid one looks really nice :)

I stayed at the EasyHotel in Basel. The room was more like a pod.
Most Easy hotels are to the same design in the rooms but I love the fact they all have AC as standard I've stayed at many Easys and never had a complaint yet!

I recently stayed in the Brussels easyHotel. It was fine but it wasn't as nice as that one.
4 back to back vlogs, and I thought my 3 day venture was nuts enough 🤣 I've never slept well on hotel beds to be honest,

You should take the easybus to the airport
I don't think they run their own buses anymore. It seems to now be a place where you can buy Megabus and National Express tickets, and from the very small sample I looked it, it is cheaper to book direct with Megabus or National Express.

I was thinking, wow looks like you're gonna have to pee in the shower for privacy but then the door swung like that to close the actual bathroom door, that's something I've never seen before!
I've stayed in a few hotel rooms which haven't had a particularly private bathroom, and when stopping with a new date, it's like.. "OK I'm just going to go and get something from the car" and then run down to the reception toilet to do the dirty deeds!!!!

They use the sink tap to get the ‘stamp’ on the toilet roll 😁

Hope you’re enjoyimg your hols and would love to see a hello from your fella, he seems like a top fella from your previous videos. No pressure, he has the right to ‘opt out’ which is fair. It looks as if your hotel apart from being modern has the benefits of bring comfortable spacious efficient and just what you needxwhen it comes to nighttime

So weird. Too bad I can’t attach a picture to my comment but at my hotel in Barcelona recently at hotel barcelò the bathroom was kind of deconstructed with a sliding mirror hiding the toilet, the sink at a desk in the room and the shower separate facing the wardrobe area back facing the bed. Seems like a theme in Spanish hotels 😂

G when I stayed in hotels and accommodation likecyours it alwqys amused me a to the various wqys my surname was spelt on the welcome pack and the tv
That shower door looks suspect, it may not be see through but you will still see a body shape through the glass, clearly you will need to share the room with only the closest of family / friends!

Looks like the one in Barcelona and I had much the same reaction - it's surprisingly nice, right? I don't know what it says about the Easy brand that we expect tolerable and are happy to receive pleasant, but the hotels are perfect for quick city breaks. Wouldn't like to share a room with someone I wasn't bodily comfortable with cos of the weird frosting thing (don't know if it's the same globally but all 3 I've stayed in have frosting you could see over if you're going in or out of the room), but if you're comfortable sharing a bed in that tight a space it's probably fine!
