On one hand I respect Obran's action to achieve peace, but on the other hand I think what he do does absolute no effect on current situation at all. There is no way for Ukrain to give up territory in exchange for peace, at least for now. Only if NATO or Russia forced him to, there is no way of any sort of negotiations. This war will be not ending so, sadly.
I agree that what Orban does cannot result in a straight up peace. That said, it gives more states an opportunity to join him in taking the reigns back from the EU. The fact that he shoes a path forward in Europe is very powerful.

The visits were really unexpected. The host countries had two days. In Kiev, the Hungarian delegation was not even given food, the Hungarian embassy in Kiev packed sandwiches for the trip. Putin learned on Wednesday that he would meet Orbán on Friday. World leaders, Putin, Xie, Trump, will welcome Orbán out of line, if this is possible.

If Russia gets away with it will create a precedent. That’s like your teacher saying to a bullying victim, “It doesn’t matter what your bully did to you let’s just all forget it” that would just give the bully the idea that they can get away with more and more. Ukrainian people lost their homes in a conflict fully started by Russia. I do t even know why people are saying let’s look for peace while not talking about judging Russia for their war crimes.

I completely understand why you're making this statement. The problem is that you're not tracking this conflict back to the source (in time and space). What I get from reading your comment is that you think this war started in Feb 2022 and it was completely unprovoked. Neither of these 2 things are true. The conflict started in 2014 and NATO is just as responsible for this as Russia is. You see, before Russia invaded Ukraine, Putin has made dozens of attempts, dating back to 2007 (watch Munich Conference - Putin speech in 2007) to stop NATO enlargement towards Russia and more specifically to Ukraine. Nobody listened and then the West has also organized that coup on the Maidan. If you're thinking "Well, Ukraine is free to join whatever alliance they want" that is also false. Ukraine has got it's independence from the Soviet Union on the principle of neutrality, meaning that they can't join any military alliance (just like Austria). Have a great day.

You say that I don’t remember. I do. Russian personnel took over airports, and took over the Crimean assembly.
