@@5e11even Mine is on the way, partly due to this video and one other one...but I've already killed two iPhone 11 PMaxs and one iPhone 14 PMax, got a free replacement and i FINALLY discovered why my phone cams were dying(I had NO clue to think about the reason was the vibrations of my bike)...now I got a new one(free thankfully but I'm on my last leg at the phone shop lol) now I'm sooooo nervous to put my new 14PMax on there! Eeeeek! Thanks for the video! The mount that broke my 3 phone cameras was a Tackform, super solid, kills phones..:)
@@DirectorDavoPaul Thanks for the watch! Hopefully it works out for you as well! I ride about 3-4 times a week and the phone mount still holds up. I need to get on making that follow up vid on how it's been doing!
I made this vid before Quad Lock came out with the new case and if they had that case earlier, I probably would have never checked out the Peak Design products. As far as Peak Design not having a wireless charger yet, I could see it being a disadvantage for motorcycle riders but as far as it being their first gen product, I feel they did pretty well on their first go and pretty satisfied with their system till this day. Maybe a wireless charger could be coming down the pipeline but I don't usually need to charge while riding so I have been ok with it.
@@AndysTV I live on a small island so I can usually get to my destination within 30-45 minutes and my phone battery lasts pretty much all day. But yes, it is really nice to have your phone charging if you are using GPS with the screen on full brightness without worrying about massive battery drain!
@@AndysTV Just saw a comment on another video from a Peak Design engineer that said they are working on a wireless charger. Not sure when they will release but good know they are working on one!
Thanks for the review. It's surpringly hard to find impressions regarding this mount...
Bout time someone made an actual review for motorcycle with this mount I’m gonna get it.I friggin hate quad lock
Over a year later and still going strong!
@@5e11evenno vibration killing your iPhone camera?
@@martyn_g Nope, I have used this on 4 bikes now and my phone camera is still working (iPhone 14 Pro Max).
looks fine and simple i will probably go for it
Awesome! Hope it works out for you!
Seems like a really solid option, might pick one up when I'm on my full license so that I can use my phone as a GPS.
Thanks for the watch! I might to a long-term follow up but I haven't had any issues with this system!
What do you mean it pretty much stays on 😂. How many times has it fallen off?
Hows your camera doing from your phone?
I upgraded from a 12 Pro Max that is in this video to a 14 Pro Max and had no camera issues with both.

Quad lock release a new case that can work with MagSafe. Peak design doesn’t have a lock with wireless charger

@@5e11even I like the peak design mobile lock system. However, I need to charge with a cable 😥
