I have the universal bar mount for my bike and a car mount. They're great but one caution: Even though the magnets are strong, when biking you really need to push the button and properly clip the phone in. I was inconsistent on that and my phone dropped on the road. Kudos to the case, because it was fine, but don't be like me!
Mous intralock system has been great for us - and for creators there is the added benefit that the same case can be used to mount it to pushchair (stroller), golf cart, joby tripod, motorbike as well as bike (and although I haven’t tried it - there is a mount that allows you to attach GPS / go pro etc alongside your phone)
Nice to hear about this option. I am well set up atm for my Pixel 7 (I have a protective case and flexible rubber handlebar mount) but I'll look at this option next time I upgrade my phone.

The universal stick-on option would feel way too cut-rate for something I'm constantly holding and putting in and out of my pocket.
The universal bar mount is a nice idea but I would have to take it off every time as there would be a risk that someone just steals it. I like that it uses a thinner case but I have to look at it. I just want something quick to use.

I backed the Kickstarter as well and bought a few of the accessories. I went with the outfront bike mount, and while I like it for the GoPro mount underneath, I've struggled to keep the clamp to handlebars from shifting during a ride. I've had the issue on both of my bikes, and had to resort to a strip of a rubber band under the clamp to get it to stay in place(I do have the Pro Max which might be some of the issue). I did however take a skid and crash on a patch of sand on a bike path and the case held to the mount without coming off, and the case only had a minor scuffs which was reassuring of it's build quality. As for the case itself I like the cloth-like back on it, but hoping they've fixed a few small things like the lack of tactile feedback of the buttons, and that the rubber over the bottom is a touch softer and rounded
Both the universal bar mount and the out-front bike mount really requires a relatively-straight and flat bar, as they have very limited ability to tilt at angles. A couple of my bikes have funky bar shapes (a Specialized Turbo Como and a Brompton), so I had to resort to using PD's ball mount adapter along with some RAM Mount parts; it's not elegant but it's functional.
I would have been interested in the issue of vibrations and phone cameras. I know this is a problem with motorcycles...yet unsure if people are experiencing this with bicycles also. Plus, concerning the wallet function: I feel like its a bad idea to have strong magnets that close to you cards. This risk of damaging the contents of the chips and magnetstrips seems really high.
@@BikeShopGirl the little blue lever tab snapped off after repeatedly folding my Brompton (since the Brompton’s handlebars famously slam shut against the front wheel assembly and the blue tab was banging into the front fork unless you remembered to rotate it from its normal position before folding). Since it’s the Outfront Mount I am still using it as a GoPro Mount for now. The main body is robust but the blue tab moving arm can break. I also found myself fiddling a lot trying to get my phone on it so this Peak Design Mount looks better for that.
I just got one and I cannot figure out how to mount a light to the bottom. Is there supposed to be another piece that you attach to the light as well then put the two together? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
I did and the accessory mount came with it. So do I need to purchase a bike light that has a mount that is compatible with the out front mount. I know it sounds confusing but with the accessory mount that comes with it you also have to have another mount that the bolt goes through to coonect the light to the mount. Quadlock does not add too much to the thickness of the case. Mechanical construction of the lock seems reliable enough. Used mine over the last 2 years - no issues with losing my phone. New inventions are great but this one in particular seems not very reliable. Unfortunately, can not give it a try.

Is your bar a 31.8 that tapers?
@@BikeShopGirl both bars are 31.8 flat bars, they look straight, but it is possible there's enough of a taper that is causing the issue

Hmm you can rotate the phone mount a few clicks and it makes it pretty straight?
The bar I mounted on in the video is a weird 20° swept bar and why I use the universal!
