The Polynesian missions irk me because they give tributary CBs but Tonga has diplo relation ideas

If the game stopped crashing every 10 years, then I'd pick Majapahit, whose hilariously broken state obviously means that somebody on the dev team or the board of directors is Indonesian or has a Indonesian bed warmer.
I don’t own the Leviathan dlc, and I am having several issues anyways. I used to lose 1 stab and some hundreds ducats every time I loaded a save. Luckily it doesn’t happen anymore after the last patch, but now I can’t force vassalize in the peace deals as it doesn’t show the option in the peace interface
Calvary in American nations before the arrival of Europeans is borderline absurd. I hope they patch that or at least require the trade range to reach continents where horses actually existed.
It was the most impressive mispronunciation of Aotearoa I've ever heard. Not remotely insulted, but I'm wondering what language base resulted in the pronunciation choices.
@@NolanSchuster4 Well at first I thought of it if you get the most providences near the wasteland you get the bonuses, so you can conquer it but you would have to take a good chunk of 'Straya
I was gonna complain about pre-columbus natives having Cavalry, but I looked it up and apparently there were horses in Carolina well before the spanish got anywhere near there. I'm owned. Facts and logic have eciverated my feelings.
Its also worth noting that the Spice Islands both have a new mission tree, which allows them to instantly start colonies (via "The Spice Must Flow" event) in provinces that can spawn cloves, and has a free colonist.
I’m sad you didn’t mention Palawa. Palawa has some crazy ideas including a +1 military power for ruler, 20% shock damage, 10% fire damage, 10% morale, tech and production efficiency bonuses and many more strong ideas. On top of that, they start with the tech cost cult and tribal land, so I feel like they stand out the most in Australia.
they need to change the polynesian ambition of getting explorers to either there tradition or 1st idea. having it as your ambition makes it completely worthless
Viti is pretty good tbh. They probably have the most expansion routes available in 1444 due to being able to easily unite their islands and then conquering the Maori. They at least have a military idea unlike Hawaii too.
Palawa (and Australian tribe) has +20% shock damage +10% morale and +10% fire damage. They also get ruler mil skill +1 as their ambition. Truly the Prussia of Australia. That is if you can stomach playing in Australia
I have to admit, i do enjoy how they made Aboriginal's potentially busted if you can overcome their horrendous tech. If you can get a colonial tech/dev boost like you would as Native Americans you have a recipe for grand south east asian conquest with your roided up armies.
after all those years, paradox did almost nothing in south america. The region of Brazil was home of about 5M ppl from direrent tribes with different cultures.
What about Siamese ideas which are completly broken? +30% national manpower, 5% discipline, 10% morale, -10% dev cost, -10% tech/ideas cost, +1 cavalry fire, +15% cav combat
I’m playing as New Zealand I fought some wars with the Tongans and allied with the Samoans . I had conquered my island but it was hard fought against them
I am really pleased to see the Maori included in this game! For tips pronouncing Aotearoa: it's kind of like OW-tear-RAW-uh, with the R of RAW being a bit like the 'r'/'l' of asian languages (think Japanese). It's technically 5 syllables but could be heard as 4. Source: I am a New Zealand school teacher. :D Edit: Actually there are plenty of videos on youtube showing you exactly how to say it; this one is exactly correct ruclips.net/video/gVb5ZX7UNXA/видео.html
Love starting with +50% naval force limit modifier and 5% ship durability as Cahokia, in freaking Illinois 600 miles from the ocean and without the tech capability to build a ship even if we weren't landlocked. Bravo Paradox
Has anyone else experienced idle vassals in 1.31? I have a few and they all behave like they have more than 50% liberty desire, even though none of them actually exceeds 50
My game would crash and when I would try and load it all nations would load in and then dissappear, causing me to lose the game because my nation no longer existed, along with all the other nations. I lost multiple iron man saves this way. I was just a couple hours of gameplay away from the new Zoroastrian achievement as Khorasani Persia
I don't play anything other than CK3, but your documentary style game play is so fun to watch. I know 1.31 has been a total s-show from the get go, so I will leave it to you, and only advise if the problems make the game unplayable or inconsistent, drop it like they dropped the ball.
Hope i can see a guide or opinion on Imperator Rome consider this game developement is ceased for a while. So you will have much time to make a guide atleast if you dont mind. Like Antigonid or other that have mission tree
Check out the community poll - I plan on potentially releasing a "post mortem" / video essay on the rise and fall of Imperator: Rome if you are interested!
On the topic of the patch being broken... Yeah. I've not had it so bad as other people. No corruped ironman saves, etc. (maybe because I'm on Windows 7?). But I have had two very annoying bugs. One locked out call diet for the rest of the game (one reason to switch to parliamentarism I guess!), the other made the "tropical city planning" merchant privilege not work on colonies (thus losing +10 colony speed in tropical regions).
What are your favorite new nations in 1.31? Also check out my community post, where there is a poll / vote for next video! Thank you for watching.

I agree! Never really thought about this before, but you hit the nail on the head.
I agree

I vassalised shirwan as the great horde. Suddenly they turned into a colony. 10/10
Okay, now I wonder how it happened and why
Shiran? Is that the Blue tag south of caucass? Isn’t that Shiravan?
wait what???

Fun Fact: Aotearoa has a different color depending on what nation you from them with
6:55 fun fact; there's a suburb in the NT, Australia, called Larrakeyah - named after the tribe shown here. (Pronounced Lah-ra-key-ya)
Thanks for the pronounciation! I definitely butchered that lol
@@AlzaboHD also for 'Kamilaroi' it's pronounced "kah-me-lah-roy", good video though
Damn I hope the game becomes playable in the next week. They did some really good progress this week, but its still pretty buggy.
My favourite part is how they effectively removed force vassalisation by “fixing” the humiliate CB
Me too... They corrupt my game with Firenze, so pretty pissed I turn to Palembang to make a run as a Pirate but the event never launch :(
9:06 the delivery made me lol

it is time for us, eu4 players, to ask ourselves the big question...
how can polynesian nations have vasals if they are nonfeudal?
The dark side of the Force is pathway to many abilities some may consider... unnatural.
Problem solved with the new patch, nobody can vassalize anymore
I mean, it's historically accurate.

Sunda is also interesting, they now have +20% morale as ambition which is huge.
Always a good day when you get a video out.
Thank you for the support and kind words, more to come next week!
Calvary in American nations before the arrival of Europeans is borderline absurd. I hope they patch that or at least require the trade range to reach continents where horses actually existed.
Maybe they can make it look like alpacas, so it looks like they have an alpacavalry. Like South asian nations have elephants instead of horses.
Damn your voice is so calm I don’t even play eu4 but still watched the whole video cause of it
Keep making EU4 content, you are one of the best! Bugs come and go
