A couple of benefits are that the pedals give a bigger, more comfortable platform to rest your feet on, instead of the typical pegs. Also you can move your feet and legs around to different positions versus them staying put, your entire ride.
I agree with all if this man. I was surprised to see how large the pedals were compared to even the larger warp 9 foot pegs. These are beefy. But the dang aluminum bracket for them had already bent. I wish it was all steel
I have the luna pedal kit installed on my red version of the triple x. One thing you need to keep in mind is that your clearance isn't as high with the pedal kit. If you go over a log or something and smash the pedal kit freewheel you're not gonna have a good time. Although with your wheel setup and the shinkos your clearance should be pretty decent. Got about 1500 miles on mine with the luna pedal kit and its holding up just fine so far.
@@JoshTheElectric Mine has held up fine so far. I ride it about as hard as you do on trails and what not. Had a couple minor falls at low speed, nothing bad, and they aren't bent yet.
Oh no not at all. It pretty much floats freely on the crank or whatever the main power axle is. Spins freely and with no resistance. On the other hand it definitely doesn't add any speed lol. Also with almost every little fall I had practicing wheelies i would have a pedal bend. No matter what brand they bend. It was a $50 purchase each time they bent.
Have you noticed anything looking off on the front tire going over 30? I just installed the 241s and the front tire looks off going over 30 on pavement. Took the wheels into a shop and they said everything looks fine and that it's most likely the tread.
I'm in the same boat as you. I was just telling someone how I can visually see it wobbling when I get up to speed but I don't feel anything in the bars. Maybe the suspension is taking up most of the feel 🤔
I was actually confused at first lol. They are not as easy an any cheap tire if you have had experience with cst tires that these come with. The shinko was a touch harder to get on the rim but after that it was all good just like any other tire change. Maybe 30 min total
Not yet specifically but the other day I had a cop see me and instantly turn all the way around and came right up to me until he seen I was stopped waiting for my wife who was just 10 feet behind me and he must not have seen her until he came right up to me. Then he just turned and left without saying anything.
@@JoshTheElectric no way how did you make them? I've been looking everywhere for one for my XXX. if you can make more id definitely buy one as well ! Cheers from Canada btw !

Have you had any issues with the pedal bracket bending? The little 4 inch aluminum guy. Both of mine have bent slightly already lol

Do you find you lost power from the pedal kit

Great Build. what is the exact tire size in front and rear? 2.75 front and 3 on the rear or 2.5 in the front? Greetings from Germany
Thanks man. 2.75 front and 3 on the back.
Would you be able to send the direct link of these tires? I put it into the search and saw a few different options for the shinko 2.75x17 on Amazon
Look for 47j in the description. The 19 inch front will have 43p as the code for the tire in discrip

How is the quality of the shingle and how easy is it to put them on?
Shinko

Spelled install wrong lol. New editing software I'm messing with that was taking my attention away
Did the cops mess with you about not having pedals???
