So soudcore has been building out their motion line of speakers very fast. And today we’re going to compare Soundcore’s two smallest speakers, the Motion 300 and the Motion 100. Obviously since the Motion 300 is larger and is a 30 watt speaker, its going to get louder and its going to have more bass than the 100… but in this video we’er going to see by how much.

1. Speakers are tested at about 60% to 80% volume. 2. Speakers are tested with identical sound settings if possible and not one with bass and the other without bass.
There are no woofers in any of them. They have Passive Radiators. Different thing completely.
I have both 300 & 100 as well I agree the 100 is the better deal
I’d like to see Boom 2 Vs x600
I'm sorry, but if "you'll be using these speakers at their max volume most of the time", you've bought the wrong speakers. They distort heavily at their highest outputs, especially in the lower frequencies. If you need to push something to its limit all the time, you should've bought something with a higher limit. Unfortunately, while the comparison is interesting and welcome, this makes the recordings useless as well, since they tell us nothing about how the speakers will sound when they're not overdriven.
Not sure what mic is being used to record the music but I watched a short video that someone posted of the 300 on Amazon and the bass there is full and rich and on this recording it's non existent!?
I agree. Maybe soundcore could do some updates to the speaker to tweak the sound a bit to minimize distortion. I just don’t like how I have to turn the bass down on my motion 300 to limit bass distortion.
Even if they could they probably won’t. I feel SoundCore doesn’t really listens to their customers concerns and opinions.
Ask Alan Ross about it on RUclips he’ll tell you they don’t
It's 2 (faily small) full range drivers doing all the sound frequencies highs mids and lows so distortion at higher volumes is to be expected.@robbieasghari8361
@@LydonLewisDoUbLeZzwell not exactly because it has the passive radiators to help out the low end but no tweeters to help out the high end.
I was wondering if its also compatible to play videos on one's desktop Bluetooth ? I had issues with other models in connecting to my pc. Thx!
Which one has better sound quality? The motion 100 or the motion 300?
The motion 300 sounds good for its size in my opinion but it has too much distortion for my liking. Mainly in the bass department. I like to test the bass to its limit.
I own 2 Motion 300’s but I do not own the motion 100
Are you going to do a speaker review on the Klipsch music city series? Klipsch Austin, Nashville, and Detroit?
