    I love that every time I have a question about blending with Vitamix I find the answer here. "I wonder what's a good recipe for beets... let's check if Tommy has one" - bam there's a beetroot recipe. "I wish someone actually compared the 1.4L and 2L containers side-by-side... maybe Tommy did?" - bam there's a video for exactly that. "Gosh, this recipe for vegan burgers is great but I don't have a food processor... I wonder if there's recipe for blender?" - well, guess who has one :-)))) I literally can't ask a question you don't have an answer for. Great channel :-)

    Is the 1.4 L container compatible with recipes from the "classic" size & shape containers then? I dreamed of having a Vitamix for DECADES and it's been challenging to adapt the majority of recipes to the Ascent 2L containers :(
    Thanks Tommy & crew as always! Excited to see all the new things you make with these!

      Unfortunately, we have recently been informed by Vitamix they have no plans to ever release the Food Processor attachment in Australia. Supposedly the cost to manufacture it for Australia is not viable for the potential sales. Not the best news to hear, in our opinion they should release it here regardless of the loss they would incur because it's a good brand experience for customers. Thanks for watching :)

      Hi Ugur, thanks for watching and for your message. I was informed only yesterday by Fackelmann Housewares, the Australian Vitamix importers, that unfortunately, Vitamix US will never release the Ascent Food Processor Attachment in Australia. I was informed it has not been a strong seller in the US and therefore it’s not finically viable to release in Australia. This was very disappointing news for us to here as we have many customers wanting it and it only makes sense that it would be released in Australia also.
      Vitamix accessories have recognition technology built into the base of the containers so they can only be used for the correct voltage/region units they were designed for, this is due to different legal electrical certification requirements for different countries etc. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and any questions please let me know. Thanks for watching!

    Why can't they just make the blades so you can swap them out instead of having to buy 3 separate containers ?

    • @irenel1119
      @irenel1119 Год назад +3

      Probably because it'd be hard to guarantee the user did it successfully and therefore that it's safe

    • @RawBlendAustralia
      @RawBlendAustralia  Год назад +2

      Vitamix doesn't want customers to remove the blades for legal reasons, in case a customer was to cut themselves. And it would also eventually damage the seal by taking the blade in and out. Thanks for watching :)
